Food is better then delivery kids like it could be cleaner random kids shouting abuse at staff isn't good let's the place down obviously no the restaurant's doing but not the best experience

Mcplant burger always lovely but I wish they would put the gherkins in . Most times they either forget or maybe have run out. I will maybe mention it but shouldnt have to.

McDonalds South Shields is located on Kingstreet near the bus station and opposite CeX. It offers a large menu (displayed on the wall), plenty of seats, wheelchair access and toilets. There are approximately 50 seats, of which you will usually find full using the lunch rush, however for the rest of the day its easy to get a seat. The toilets are upstairs, with the disabled and baby change toilet downstairs. To speed things up, McDonalds have touch screens that allow you to order directly, and pay with card without having to approach the counter, they even do offers on the back of bus tickets and online, if you find yourself short on cash. The place is kept very clean, with staff continuously on the go sweeping and disinfecting surfaces. I have found then during quiet periods, the average serve time is around 30 seconds. During busier periods, it can go up to 3-4 minutes. The staff are kind and I am yet to encounter anything or anyone I wish to complain about. Conclusion: 9/10 Seating availability drops a point. There used to be seats upstairs, I was disappointed when they got removed, during rush hour do not expect to sit down.

I don't personally love McDonald's but I take my son every so often as a treat because he enjoys going. Food comes out quickly and looks as it should, staff are very accommodating and even when it's full we always manage to get a table. Toilets are not fantastic but honestly there is such a huge footfall through here on a daily basis what can you really expect.
