I had a night away here with my 9 year old daughter as a treat for her. The room was absolutely immaculate and my daughter stated it was better than she could have imagined it to be. Breakfast was lovely and a wide choice of food. The staff were friendly and very polite and professional, would definitely recommend to others.

LOVE this hotel rooms are large and comfy food breakfast and dinner are fantastic and I have left the best till last the staff very friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them I have stayed at this hotel many times and each time it just gets better and better would recommend to anyone
We had our wedding reception at the Little Haven last week and can't thank the staff enough for all of their hard work, especially Siobhan. The room looked perfect and we all had the best time.

Stayed 3 nights.. lovely hotel, lovely staff, stunning location by the sea, beautiful walks along the sea front, the best sands, views of the ships coming in, food delicious & rooms beautiful.
This is the second time in two years we've stayed here to celebrate an occasion. We kindly got upgraded last year and we loved the room that much, we've booked the same room again. Everything about the hotel is top notch. Service is second to none and all the staff friendly and welcoming. Even in this Beast of the East blizzard I can't think of anywhere cozier to listen to the howling wind outside. The location is superb for so many different reasons.

We have just had our evening wedding reception in the harbour suite. We had a Disney theme as we got married in Florida and I can't thank the whole team that looked after us. The food was lovely and the staff from each department were amazing catering, wedding planner, bar staff and the DJ. We had a fantastic night thank you �
Yesterday i got married here. All the staff especially siobhan, jan, rachel and micheal were amazing. I cant put into words how much they care and look after you. Even with an England game on, these guys are all proffesionals. They dont just do their job..they care.
I would tell everyone to get married here. On a summers night like mine- it was magical.

What an amazing little gem beautiful views ideal location and staff that really care, food was fab at a reasonable price highly recommended
I didn't have a room, but went into the cafe (open to non residents), and had a bacon sandwich and latte. Both were fantastic and tasty. Reasonably priced, too.
Sat in their large conservatory/cafe/reception room and watched storm Babet outside, whilst enjoying the food and drink. Service was fantastic and staff were polite and friendly. Definitely will go again.
Such a lovely experience we went here for my sons birthday as he loves the beach. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. We enjoyed going from the beach to the hotel at ease. View was lovely to wake up to. We will be visiting again as soon as we can. Highly recommended.

I can't believe how amazing our wedding experience was at the Little Haven Hotel! From the beautifully organized event to the incredibly helpful and prepared management team, every detail was perfect. The food was beyond brilliant, and the service from the staff was absolutely excellent. The penthouse suite was the icing on the cake, offering breathtaking views over the river mouth. Our special day couldn't have been any better thanks to this wonderful hotel and its dedicated team.
I also have to give a huge shoutout to the site DJ, who was absolutely fantastic! They kept the energy high and had everyone dancing throughout the night. And speaking of the night, the waiting staff, bar staff and night porter went above and beyond, working tirelessly to surprise our guests with fun additions like the shot cart to ensuring all of our flowers were looked after. Their dedication and attention to detail truly made our wedding a memorable and joyful experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our special day even more incredible!
A special mention goes to the event manager, who was truly on the ball. Jan went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, even helping us capture the perfect cake-cutting photo. Her attentiveness and support added an extra layer of perfection to our already magical day.
We would absolutely recommend the Little Haven as a wedding venue!

Room had fantastic facilities however the Staff deserve a special mention . Jan and the function made our function memorable
Food was first class but the service was impeccable.
Lunch date with my hubby, staff brilliant as always. Service quick & meal of Fish n Chips cooked to perfection & a very generous portion of fish. All in all a great place to be as the views are amazing.
Always very good in there. The staff were run off there feet as there was a wedding and a large coach party. Although the service was a bit slower than usual they still managed walk in customer such as the wife and I well done and thank you.
Came here to meet family (on holiday for few days) and had coffees/teas sandwiches & cake. Service - shockingly slow! We waited an age for scone & teacake (were.they making them?!!)., Service:would.have rated more if had been served alot quicker. Location excellent, with great views over the Tyne, and next to the beach. Tables also outside .

I found the staff so helpful and friendly.
The majority of staff are young very pleasant and hard working.
I would not hesitate to come back to this hotel independently from a coach trip.
Great location facing the Tyne and next to beach. (Separate c.p. )Service - shockingly slow. How long can it take to bring out scone & teacake? An age & a half here!!!! Came to meet family on holiday here for a few days - their sandwiches and all teas/coffees had been eaten/drunk before ours were brought out.(hence 2 stars). Plenty parking, but if staying here, you do have to enter your car reg in reception. Bench seating outside to watch the river passing by!
It's a good 3* hotel. Rooms are a little tired, but clean. Could do with some new mattresses - ended up sleeping on top of the duvet as could feel the springs! Great views of Herd Groyne and the harbour. Plenty of free parking. Breakfast buffet good.
My parents had their Diamond 60th Wedding Anniversary, in the amazing Riverside events marquee at the Littlehaven Hotel, last week. Amazing experience from start to finish, suberbly well organised by Jan, the events manager. Buffet including fab sea food plater were really high quality, we had lots of lovely comments from the guests, everyone was very impressed with the standard. Highly recommended. Thank you.
Stayed here for a family wedding travelling from Portsmouth...the hotel is in a great location on beach ..the rooms are spacious and well equipped..The staff are very attentive food is excellent and in all had a lovely stay will definitely return when visiting family again. Thanks.

Great price and choice with fantastic views of the Tyne from the conservatory. Why would you even consider wetherspoons when this is on your doorstep
Stayed over for a 2night break , great Location for a stroll along the sea front , few beers & a bite to eat .hotel staff are a credit to the hotel very friendly & helpful.will be staying over again sometime in the near future .

Lovely Sunday lunch. Superb staff. The door was clipped open because of the heat, but people were walking into the restaurant very close to our table.
