I didn't have a room, but went into the cafe (open to non residents), and had a bacon sandwich and latte. Both were fantastic and tasty. Reasonably priced, too.

Such a lovely experience we went here for my sons birthday as he loves the beach. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. We enjoyed going from the beach to the hotel at ease. View was lovely to wake up to. We will be visiting again as soon as we can. Highly recommende

Food was first class but the service was impeccable.
Lunch date with my hubby, staff brilliant as always. Service quick & meal of Fish n Chips cooked to perfection & a very generous portion of fish. All in all a great place to be as the views are amazing.
Always very good in there. The staff were run off there feet as there was a wedding and a large coach party. Although the service was a bit slower than usual they still managed walk in customer such as the wife and I well done and thank you.

I found the staff so helpful and friendly.
The majority of staff are young very pleasant and hard working.
I would not hesitate to come back to this hotel independently from a coach trip.

It's a good 3* hotel. Rooms are a little tired, but clean. Could do with some new mattresses - ended up sleeping on top of the duvet as could feel the springs! Great views of Herd Groyne and the harbour. Plenty of free parking. Breakfast buffet good.

Stayed here for a family wedding travelling from Portsmouth...the hotel is in a great location on beach ..the rooms are spacious and well equipped..The staff are very attentive food is excellent and in all had a lovely stay will definitely return when visiting family again. Thanks.

Great price and choice with fantastic views of the Tyne from the conservatory. Why would you even consider wetherspoons when this is on your doorstep
Stayed over for a 2night break , great Location for a stroll along the sea front , few beers & a bite to eat .hotel staff are a credit to the hotel very friendly & helpful.will be staying over again sometime in the near future .

Lovely Sunday lunch. Superb staff. The door was clipped open because of the heat, but people were walking into the restaurant very close to our table.
