Called in twice recently for the all you eat breakfast and pleasantly surprised. Good selection of pastries, cereal, fruit juice etc and the full cooked breakfast is great. Nice they cater for vegetarians like me too. For £9.50 you can have as much of everything including good coffee and fruit juices as you want. Staff are really helpful and nice and i would definately recommend.

Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Had food & someone brought over a high chair for me then went into the play area and the staff were so helpful, supplied my little one with endless balloons which she loved and they looked out for all the kids

The Cinder Path is a fabulous family friendly restaurant which we have visited several times. The staff are always friendly and attentive, good food, lots of offers available from the Bonus Club card, and a huge new play area to keep the kids entertained! Well worth a visit.

Attended a party here today, party staff were attentive and simply fantastic with the children. Bar staff friendly and helpful. My daughter had a lovely time and really enjoyed her food (fish bites). Would definitely visit again

A lovely clean example of the Brewers Fayre chain. Spotlessly clean when we went, with pleasant, friendly staff and nicely cooked & presented food

We come here about twice a month. The food is great, and so is the service. Reasonable prices. Good range of things to choose from.

We had a great experience with food here! I asked for a salad with a grilled breast chicken, and everything was fine for me! The size, freshness of the vegetables and the flavour of the sauce was really pleasant. The kids menu was different of any place we went before, the steak option surprised us and my daughter really enjoyed her choice! (Was a pity that I forget to take a picture of our dishes). Environment family friend too.

We were a largish group visiting for Sunday lunch. Food was good, and service great considering the numbers involved. Kids enjoyed playing in the little soft play, though not really enough there to keep them entertained for too long.

What a fab place. Lovely comfortable and very relaxing surroundings. Food was exceptional this evening, what a great pub food menu & cooked to perfection, thank you to whoever was the chef when I dined there late afternoon. If we had gone there at a later time I would have stayed and tried out one or two of their seasonal Christmas cocktails from their drinks menu - they looked very tempting and fun. Service at the bar when ordering was friendly and helpful. For pub food and atmosphere I couldnt recommend anywhere else in Shields higher than this. Shame it has taken me so long to try out the place.

Lovely little play area for younger kids and well priced kids meals. Staff have always been friendly when I've visited. Buffet breakfast is always a winner too as kids eat free with a paying adult.

We visited here after a day at the fair. The queues had put us off waiting for food on the seafront and we had seen this place on the way in. The man who greeted us and showed us to a table was lovely, if a little excitable, but then nothing. No one came for a good ten minutes. The lady who attended to us after this time MORE than made up for our wait. She was polite, well mannered took time to speak to our girls and nothing was too much trouble! She literally never stopped the whole time we were there attending to the needs of each table. Food was better than expected for the price and with our waitress knocking off a discount for our wait even better. We would return just to have such a lovely waitress again...who even complimented our daughters manners which was lovely. Brewers fayre this girl is a credit to you and deserves a rise! I wish we could have left a bigger tip because she earned it!

Food was lovely and the place was very nice although cold, we were sat next to the air conditioning system. Yes we could've moved as the place wasn't busy, but decided to stay put. Service was very good but a bit slow. I had ordered dessert's to take home as this was stated as something you could do. Took ages to work out how to pack it for the journey. Portion size of the dessert was small to say the least, we won't be buying them again. Overall it was a lovely place, friendly staff and nice food.
