We had an absolutely wonderful meal. We went on a Saturday lunch time meeting family who we haven't seen for a while as we live in Manchester.
The menu was extensive with so much to choose from, the food which came was perfectly executed. We had a large variety of things for the table and could not fault a thing!
Starters mains and desserts were brilliant, light where they needed to be and so tasty! Service was great!
We will be back when next in the area and visit the new site when you go there. We will also recommend to all!! Thank you!
Good service and nice food. The portion is enough and tastes good. Pizza is excellent with strong cheese tastes. There was heavy rain when I done in, the staff allowed some people to stay inside without consuming. I think it was a kind attitude. Appreciate it.
Fabulous restaurant right on the South Shields high street. We went after reading rave reviews and it did not disappoint! We didn't have a reservation but they were able to squeeze us in. Lovely waiting on staff and fairly quick service. The food was gorgeous. Well worth a visit if you are ever in the area.
We chose this restaurant due to the amazing reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. The menu had lots of amazing things to choose from. Prices were reasonable and service was great. Highly recommended.
First time experiencing this establishment. The mixed grill was to die for and the Pollo Wild Forest was so delicate. Definitely left a lasting impression along with fantastic service from John. Another visit on the cards for the near future (but getting a taxi next time to enjoy an amoretto) 😁
Went to Italianish after the great north run and had a fabulous experience! We didn't have a reservation but were seated quickly. Staff were all super friendly and attentive. Cocktails were delicious. Food was outstanding. Would recommend the empanadas to start! Brilliant atmosphere. Looking forward to going back soon. Cant recommend enough!
Visited after the Great North Run and found this gem on Ocean Road. Food was fantastic, good portion sizes and lots of choice. High level of service from all staff despite the restaurant being busy. Look forward to returning when next in South Shields.
We’re stopping over for the Magic Festival. Popped in because of the reviews AND THEY’RE NOT WRONG. Tenderest chicken ever!!!!!! Steve had a folded pizza you could have used as a door stop. Brilliant. “Nice one John”.
Went with a friend today for my birthday treat, he had been before and said it was lovely, the waiter was very polite, took our drinks order, then came back for our food, we ordered off the lunchtime special, I had potato skins, there were more than enough for me, it was beautifully presented, and I had penne arabiata for my main, again lots of pasta, the sauce was quite hot, which I love.
Even though I'm from the other side of the river, I will definitely be going back again.. 😊

Very warm welcome. Excellent menu. Italian and Spanish. Starters, mains and desserts as usually, one course or two course specials and tapas are also on offer. Soft and alcoholic drinks available. We had the two course special. Huge portions, excellent value, taste and quality. Served in a relaxed environment with authentic music. Really friendly staff. All areas were clean they even had hand sanitizer placed at each table. A really enjoyable experience.
Nice friendly staff ,food was very tasty and presented well. Prices are reasonable .it's one of my top Italian places to go ,worth a visit. One little thing that would tick all the stars would be to tidy around the tree area and give the tree some TLC.
Amazing food by far 100%, customer service is over the radar, staff are professional and very friendly and always happy to help with any needs, could not recommend this restaurant enough, would give 10 stars if I could. Hats off to the chefs 👌
Second time at this fantastic place. The staff are so welcoming and warm and nothing too much trouble they’ll even tweak a dish if you want to add or take anything away.
Absolutely superb, hand sanitisers on every table and so clean.

Absolute hidden gem.
Ate here for the second time today and the food was amazing just like the first. Really brought a smile to my face how incredible it tasted.

The owner is really nice too who is always doing his best to keep everyone happy, they have a good selection of drinks and all the food is freshly prepared and full of flavour.
