Excellent first time visit.Terrific range of beer, great price , brilliant music and excellent, naturally friendly service, I was made to feel like a local. Didn't try the food this visit, plenty of folks eating, so a good sign. Will definitely be back for food and drink 👍

Great food and a wide selection of drinks including real ales. We love the food prepared by the talented chef Phil. Currently a very popular pub/restaurant with excellent service and a friendly casual atmosphere. Pool table and darts available but not a sports bar. We love this pub.
Excellent dog friendly park opposite Marine Park. The food is excellent, possibly the best pub burger I have ever eaten! Great value for money too. Highly recommended.

We called in for a few drinks with friends. The staff and customers were friendly and helpful. The food looked really nice but we did not eat. We will be going back and would recommend it. Also very dog friendly.
My favourite place for a pint in Shields. Friendly staff, great range of cask & keg beers at a decent price. Music is good with pool/darts available.
Was up in South shields for a birthday weekend a great pub, good choice for larger and cast beers, the food looked delicious but have to say I did have any, also the staff were very friendly and polite, if ever in South shields again I would hesitate to call in again and probably have food next time
