First time to this place. Didn't actually knew abt chinese place offering so much of vegetarian variety.....lovely and very friendly staff.offered free pumpkin crackers to our lil girl(she loved them). Nice food and ambience...the best part was their magical towels which looked as a small tiny tablet but expands when soaked in water ;)

Every Friday night we have a takeaway from here. My little girl comes to collect and the staff cannot fuss her enough. The food is exceptional and portion sizes are brilliant. My favourite is salt and pepper prawns just beautiful. We are however slowly working through the menu!
Cannot fault food, staff or price. Came here lastnight for daughters birthday, all 12 of us could not believe how attentive they were and how delicious every meal was!! Definitely be back, and that goes for all of us x
Last night we ordered are tea and it was flawless, full of flavour and very tasty. In my view the Red dragon chop suey is the best in south shields. The staff are very pleasant and the delivery time was spot on.
Had a couple of deliveries from here and have to say is my new favourite everything came hot and was delicious. I would definitely recommend ordering from here
Absolutely delicious! Worth every penny!
We both had chicken and sweetcorn soup for starter and also shared the redragon starter 2 person share platter. Main course we had chicken Thai green curry and a shredded chicken Kung Po both with fried rice then to finish off a generous helping of ice cream!
We will be returning!
Dined here tonight what can I say.. absolutely delightful staff who were more than happy to help with anything, so friendly especially with my three loud children and nothing was a problem..
Would defiantly recommend this friendly restaurant for anyone with children who want to feel at ease..

First time visit and most impressed, as soon as we entered the restaurant we were met with a warm and friendly greeting, shown to our table, and presented with the menu. The hot n sour soup was delicious, the crispy shredded beef was excellent, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, the next time we are in South Shields we will be calling in again. Thank you.
We've had take aways from here and visited for the first time tonight. Amazing! Lovely food, lovely people. Spoken to Doris on the phone and finally got to meet her. Love you Doris! We are Vegan and had the crispy "duck" which was delicious. Thanks for the sample dish of "cod" it was devine. This is the best Chinese restaurant ever. We'll be back :) xx

Ordered takeaway/delivery from here for the first time tonight - very friendly service on the phone, food came in under 30 mins. Best chinese we have eaten in South Shields. Great portions, tastes are great, plenty of meat in the dishes. Well done, you just won yourself a new regular customer! :-)
The staff were fantastic and the food was too. When I called in to reserve the table I just mentioned it was for my birthday. On arrival to the restaurant was a table filled with Happy Birthday confetti.

I don't usually leave reviews on a takeaway but I think everyone needs to hear about this hidden gem. Food arrived 40 mins before it was due and on good Friday. We were given free mini spring rolls and prawn crackers. The special fried rice was absolutely unreal. The soft noodles were perfect, not too greasy or salty as you sometimes find. The salt and pepper crispy beef was perfect. The honey chilli pork was really good, very crispy coating lovely sauce and not too much veg but the veg was crunchy and delicious. The mixed starter was great value and all items were lovely. Cannot fault this Chinese, very pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend.
I visited here for the first time with my family last month. As a big fan of Chinese food - it honestly was one of the best I've ever had! Everybody left feeling very full and happy with their meal, and on top of that... the waitress was lovely! She was smiley, cheerful and checked on us regularly or came straight over whenever we needed something. The portions were good for the prices as I overestimated what I was able to eat, and there was a lot of vegetarian alternatives. Vegetarian chicken/duck/etc is something that isn't very common in Chinese restaurants so thank you!

My order was taking a while so we decided to head down to the shop to collect it instead. Obviously I wasn't too impressed that my delivery was already late but on arrival we seen just how frantic and stressed they were. They were very accomodating despite being under so much pressure. The food smelt amazing and tasted even better. Highly recommend, this will be our go to takeaway!

Absolutely amazing. Was recommended to this place and by God I was impressed. The staff are amazing, customer service at its best! Food... Wow... I had the satay chicken for starter and I've never had anything like it! The staff know their food and are happy to recommend dishes after asking what type of food you enjoy, which is rare these days. You can tell so much care has gone into this business.
Authentic, high if not extreme level of customer service, amazing food with rich but balanced flavours and a great atmosphere.
Beautiful food! Sat in and had a takeaway several times and never faulted it at all, nothing on the menu I don't like and have tried quite a few different meals! The staff are so so lovely and attentive and make a big deal of making sure your meal is ok, Doris the owner is the most lovely woman ever and I have became friends with them it's now our local Chinese and would highly recommend to anyone and every 10/10 on every level!!!!
Dorris and the team are always so friendly and welcoming. The food is so tasty, fresh and feels more like authentic Asian food than many other restaurants. Lots of vegetarian options and plenty for meat lovers too. Our favourite place to eat in South Shields! 😀
We visit quite frequently, both for dine in meals and takeaway, and have never had a bad experience. Food quality is great, portions are huge, and staff are friendly and provide excellent service. Well worth the money.
