Went there for my birthday. The place was beautiful and spacious. Got a nice seat. The waiters were nice. I loved the meals! Starter was delicious, well spiced, good portion. Mains were also very lovely. Portions great. Loved everything

First visit . Staff attentive but not overpoweringly so. Service was very quick . Portions were huge and I thoroughly enjoyed my dish which was the gnocchi, however one of my party had the chicken Caesar salad and , although the leaves and dressing were good, the texture of the chicken wasn't .

Food was delicious ! Nice ambience! Portion could be bigger!

Menu has changed slightly, but once again, food was outstanding. All party went for desserts, the honeycomb cake was georgous, everyone was happy with theirs. Staff were again very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Mambo's Wine and Dine.

Me and my family go here often, the food is exceptional and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much to ask for and they're brilliant with children. Such a warm and relaxing atmosphere. I'd say it's the best restaurant in South Shields.

Was very nice, service was amazing, staff were lovely. Food portions were in the small side but then I didn't feel too bad ordering a dessert. Cocktails were lovely too.
