lovely place. very good food (quit a lot to be honest). not expensive. service has supperb. a place to go back some time
Staying in the area for the weekend and called in for some food based on reading the online reviews. We were not disappointed - best gluten free fish and chips we have ever had!

Great little pub with old days feel about it. We have been on 3 occasions and every time the food has been first class. Lovely homely feel service was great and food was excellent. Very fairly priced and portions are more than generous. Lastly it is dog friendly which we think is great.
Went for lunch. Food was really tasty and staff really friendly. Went at noon and it was quiet. I would recommend having fish and chips. The batter is really light and full of flavour. The desserts are to die for. Great quality food and reasonable priced. We will be back for sure.
Great wee place. Friday night they do 2 x steaks and a bottle of wine for £30. Brilliant deal. Steaks were very tasty, wine fine and staff really friendly and helpful. Excellent.
Small pub serving meals and snacks. Not a huge choice on menu but really well cooked and presented. Beers well kept and tasty. Good service and not expensive. Just popped in as we were passing, will probably use again if in the area.
Night out with 5 fishing buddies, The meal was outstanding no one managed to clear their plates ! And the drinks service first class and a good game of dominoes had by all. Will definitely be back. Thank you
Top class chef. Beautiful food all freshly made. A must visit for anyone who enjoys good food. I would give 10 stars but thats not available. If you miss this place you only have yourself to blame.
Great little family restaurant and portions are fantastic my partner said she has never had such a large fish supper and couldn't believe the price highly recommended

Wandered in after visiting the Lally Brach house. Delicious split pea soup, deer special and the baked camembert. Comfort food with sophisticated seasonings. Can't stop thinking about it and might return before we leave Edinburgh. Service was friendly and the fire place awesome.
What a warm and welcoming pub. The food was awesome, especially the steak and ale pie and the cheesecake of the day. Would definitely recommend this place
Stumbled on this place by accident and I'm glad we did. A lovely warm atmosphere, fantastic food and great staff. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back if I'm passing.
