Absolutely adorable. Lovely atmosphere, fresh baked goods (breakfast comes in small portions i.e one tiny piece of mushroom). Perfect for families with kids.

A very interesting Farm to visit... Ample parking space. What made this farm interesting in the jam making classes. You get the pluck your own strawberries, cut them, smash them, increasing the knowledge for the kiddos...

We regularly visit the Farm shop and the Cafe with family and friends. On this occasion we have visited the Pumpkin Patch and the Apple Orchard. We had booked our PYO slots in advance so there was no queuing required. Fantastic experience. Canine Cafe is amazing too. Our dog, Lola loved it here.

This is a review of both the berrypicking, the shop and a brief visit to the café. 5 stars to the berrypicking! That was GREAT! The staff here were super nice. Had so much fun picking berries. The spaces around the berries were nice and clean, it was easy to get to the berries and the strawberries were elevated to about 1.2m or so, so would didn't need to bend down to pick them. Would definitely recommend that as an activity to do with others, whether it's with family, friends or a date. The shop in the building the cafe was in had a really good variety of products, many of which would be hard to get in any normal supermarket. So, also absolutely worth the visit! We originally wanted to have a little meal at the café. We did also find a seat after having been instructed by a member of staff to do so when we expressed interest in sitting down. She said someone would be over with a menu. We waited for about 10mins, but no one came. In the end we decided to leave. We could've asked the staff again for a menu, but we thought it was a fairly noisy environment (after all, it was a Saturday, so quite a few families with young children were there). Still, if you're looking for a place to pick berries near Edinburgh or to buy high quality farm produce, I'd warmly recommend Craigie's Farm 🍓 🍒

Can't really fault this farm, its huge which wasn't expected. Large variety of fruits, veggies, some flowers and animals. I was there for 1.5 hours before closing and that was not enough, missed checking out the other side of the farm and picking up the likes of gooseberries and redcurrants, or even seeing what other animals there were besides 🐎🐎. Will visit again with more time. Never ate anything there so can't comment.

Just a question. Do you need to book tickets in advance or can we just show up? I'll update this review once we have been there. Update: Whole family really enjoyed our time there. We saw some animals and the little one got to play in the kids section and also got to pet a pony. The shop was much bigger and better than I expected and there was a restaurant and butchers with a lovely area outside to relax in and enjoy the amazing views. We made the day of it and plan to go back at some point!

This is a pick-your-own farm and a farm shop. We found plenty of parking. At the entrance to the fields you get a couple of small buckets. There was an entrance fee of £12 for the family of three. This counts as a deposit for the food you will collect and pay lager. It is a quite reasonable estimate for what we collected. The staff gives you also a wee map. At the time the raspberries were basically all picked. There were plenty of blueberries and the apple trees were bending over with the fruit load. The potatoes are also very good but you have to dig them up, of course. You may like to bring a sharp knife if you want some of the cauliflower. The farm is fun for the whole family.

Amazing day at Craigie’s farm. I always get my fruit, veg, honey & low sugar jam from there as well as cakes meat from the butcher sauces orange juice milk cheese whatever you need you will get at Craigie’s farm. Always a lovely atmosphere whenever I go. It’s also amazing to see the animals. I especially love it in autumn when it’s pumpkin picking season my favourite time of the year. I enjoy spending time in the cafe. The service is fantastic and the food is delicious. Highly recommend to those who haven’t been before especially right now with it being strawberry season you can either pick your own or buy from the shop.

We took the kiddos fruit picking and they had a great time. We picked strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. Their vegetables were limited at the time. The farm also had a kids train ride which was cute. The cafe and Deli had some gorgeous Scottish treats and savories. I grabbed some as gifts for family and friends back home, but the food we ordered were ok. They had fun desserts though. Toilets were clean and the service there was lovely.

I visited Craigis countless times, most of the time to stock up with excellent honey, vegetables, cheese and meat. Finally I also tried their cafe and all the food was delicious and fresh. Staff very kind, helpful and welcoming.

Excellent veg and soft fruit grown on site so nice and fresh. Pick your own available in season. Cafe tends to get busy at weekends. Usual range of quiche, toasties baked potatoes and mac'n'cheese . They do a rather nice veggie breakfast. The kids soft play has it's own cafe so you can have a child free zone if you like 😉

Lovely family day out. Got the pick and play tickets where the kids were able to play in the tiny farmers section for 90 minutes where we also had a nice lunch followed by a pick your own fruit section where we could explore the entire farm area and harvest fruit, veg and eggs from the chickens. Kids also got a go on the barrel train ride where they had a great time going around the farm. A little bit pricey especially with all the add on activities but overall a good day out.
