Delicious meal. I had lamb and the steak pie and noodle dish were all great.
Stayed here in my Motorhome, only a few minutes from the A30 with easy access, the views are stunning, the free house pub has a great atmosphere, is very welcoming and friendly with a well stocked cellar. The food is excellent, prepared and served by staff who understand the clients expectations.
You should be able to expect a good standard of service wherever you go but they real measure of service excellence is how well a business copes when something has gone wrong and the manner in which they recover.

Lovely views from our table in the beer garden. Hadn't booked but just popped in after a walk on Bodmin moor. Met by waiter who showed us to a free table and took our drinks order. Stopped here on our travels from landsend back home and what a delight. Great food at sensible prices and a lovely atmosphere. Everyone was so happy and friendly it made a nice change from our local back home. Landlord was such a character too, made you feel at home. Highly recommend.

Came here on a Whim and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious the member of staff was super friendly and accommodating.
Found the Frog and Bucket whilst visiting a nearby attraction in Launceston. We arrived a bit early for food (starts from 6) but had a nice drink outside until the table was ready. The setting is really beautiful, nice views from the beer garden.

Amazing food! Homemade but so much better :) the roast potatoes are the best I've had, the burgers and chips are fantastic too, they have special chips that look like chisels, makes them crispy and delicious, its a lovely atmosphere, staff are really friendly, it's our new go to place.
