This was a wonderful little find. Stayed one night b&b for a wedding locally and I could not be happier. Rooms were large, clean and modern. Extremely good value at £50 a night including breakfast. At that price I was expecting a greasy spoon affair, but the breakfast quality was 5* delicious well grilled bacon and sausage, hash browns that were crispy and fried in clean oil. Nice mushroom and egg. Worth a £10 easy. Very friendly staff and landlords, highly recommended

This was a stopover on our trip home from Cornwall and we were delighted to find such a gem of a pub to stay at! When we arrived we were greeted by the barman and we had a lovely pint of ale at a very reasonable price. The pub had a really welcoming feel to it. The staff were all friendly and could not have been more helpful. A special thanks to Ali for her extra help. Our room was very comfortable and clean and a good size. We ate in the restaurant where the menu was extensive and the food was excellent at a very reasonable price. We enjoyed a restful night and a good breakfast and would thoroughly recommend this place. On our next visit to the West Country we will stay here again.

Popped in for a few drinks on a Friday night, the place was busy. Lot's of space to sit outside as well as inside. Very friendly staff. Food looked good, big portion sizes and a great variety on the menu.

Came on a bank holiday trip with fianceé to meet her family in Dorset. The Brewers Arms was the base for two nights. Really nice location, car park was down the road a little next to the Co-op. It's free parking. Really nice place for an adult stay. The room we had was clean and modern. There was no sound issues from when the pub was busy at night. The bed was comfortable and provide a nice night sleep. The included breakfast was really enjoyable and have lots of variety. On our second night we decided to have dinner. The food choices were excellent and was not disappointed. Lots of local drinks along with the common variety.

Booked this gem of a pub to go to a concert at The David Hall, in walking distance - and returned to enjoy more music at the pub later. Great welcome by landlady Ali, Nicki and all the staff. We had a double room with en-suite, it was super clean with a comfy bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Fabulous meal in the restaurant in the evening and a delicious breakfast in the sunny conservatory in the morning, thank you chef. Lovely village pub with great decor and friendly staff. Would stay again and thoroughly recommend.

Stayed for one night b&b , the room was clean and well kept. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast was well cooked and good quality. Overall an excellent experience and good value. To add the pub doesn't have its own parking but there was nearby street parking available, and the room had an interesting sloping floor found in some old buildings.

Had a one night stay here. Fabulous, a proper famil friendly village pub. Dogs allowed in tjs bar. Good selection of ales etc. There is also a restaurant, it was extremely busy and obviously very popular. The landlord and landlady were great, friendly and helpful. My room was lovely great en suite with bath and overhead shower. Full English in the morning was yummy. They have quite a lot of outside area which I didn't see until this morning, I imagine it is very well used in good weather although some is under cover too so any stinky smokers will be happy too! Well worth a visit.
