Booked in for lunch with my step mum at 1230, I had the busmans picnic and she had a fresh ham, cheese and coleslaw roll. The food was amazing! I didn’t realise how much was included in the busmans picnic until it came out. We stayed for such a long time we also tried some Moroccan orange cake which was absolutely delicious as well! Thank you to the staff for having us for so long, we went as they were about to shut! A lovely place, in a wonderful location with fantastic food a must try if you haven’t thought about it already! I’m glad we did!

If you want somewhere different to relax and have a coffee this is the place to be. The food is fab, the staff are so welcoming and friendly and the surroundings are wonderful. Highly recommend The Trading Post.

Amazing, the staff, coffee and food are all incredible, how scrambled eggs can be so good is a mystery to me. Make a point to visit if you’ve never been :)

What a fantastic venue for a special Mother’s Day. The converted bus is quirky and beautiful, the staff friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic, have so often been disappointed by tasteless roast dinners eaten at other restaurants but this was fresh, full of flavour and perfectly cooked.

No words to describe how delicious the vegan burger was that I had today , I should have asked the chef for the secret recipe... seeing as we were just heading south whilst on holiday from not so sunny Glasgow Oh and I loved that fact that I could enjoy it on a vintage double decker bus

Really great lunch, my Xmas dinner sandwich was delicious, and some very good fries. My wife really enjoyed her veggie burger also. We were also tempted by some delicious looking homemade muffins to take home for tea.

Absolutely outstanding every time. A proper food destination - chefs know what they’re doing, the layering of flavours and textures is truly unmatched. We’ve been 3 times now and each have been 10/10 faultless- staff are lovely too and very accommodating and helpful. Already can’t wait to go back!

Loved the railway carriage, such an unusual setting. Food was of high standard, absolutely loved the vegan mushroom wings! Service was pretty slow but staff were lovely. Expensive but worth it for the experience!

Booked for an early breakfast, food was very hot and clearly all local produce. It was a new experience to eat in an old railway carriage, lots of fun! Very fast service too but they did a while to clear our plates after our meal. Will be visiting again!

Had an early breakfast and sat in their circus themed carriage! The atmosphere was delightful. We received our food and drinks very quickly, but it did take a while for our plates to be cleared. Everything is served through the window so there is very little disruption. Overall a very lovely experience!

A nice place to stop for lunch providing various interesting places to sit, on a double decker bus or a train carriage or under a tent like structure with bench seats providing a family friendly atmosphere. The food provided is home cooked and presented in a fun way. The service is very efficient and the price is as reasonable as expected.

Wish this place wasn't so far from home only get to go when on holiday although I'd probably be very overweight if it was closer amazing food and cakes we took away

Amazing food but service rather slow. Waited quite a while to order both mains and dessert and others seemed to have the same problem. Waited ages to pay and no-one came...had to go and find someone!

Officially my happy place - small plates that pack a punch, cocktails that hit every sense, just the right amount of quirky and backed up with good ethics and food miles. You have the options of being seated onboard the bus or the old railway train, with cabins that will bring out your inner Wes Anderson character - if the sun is out the garden with far reaching views is a high light - I would recommend booked, and I always order 2 or 3 small plates - utter heaven!

Had a lovely lunch here and will certainly be returning when the weather is warmer. Could not fault food or staff. Would have been 5 stars but toliet facilities on site could be nicer and access issues, uneven steps, few trip hazards and mesh needs attention dangerous underfoot.
