The Grove Inn - South Molton - Photo album

We had a very enjoyable evening meal here. The food and service were both very good. The treacle tart was amazing! Parking is a bit limited and I would recommend booking a table as it gets busy.
Lovely little pub. Nice and quiet but full of life and atmosphere. Food was great, young lad waiting tables was very attentive and run off his feet. Never made us feel rushed though and took the time with each table that was needed. Nice to see a country pub being run right. Thank you
First time visitors this evening and we'll definitely be back... Took our Nanna for her first steak dinner since moving to South Molton from the Midlands and it was the most I've ever seen her eat! The whitebait starter was tasty and generous, the haggis scotch egg with whisky mayo was perfect (if I
Best pub meal we've had in years. Great range of beers & ciders on tap. You have to try the homemade Scotch egg - runny yolk, warm, so good!! Anything with the Ruby Red steak is cooked beautifully. I had the Beef Wellington and it cut like butter ‐ practically melted in the mouth. Make sure to book
Went here whilst staying locally, bar staff were really friendly and accommodating. Got us a table earlier than we thought. Great beer and the food was amazing. My beef wellington was perfectly cooked and delicious. My wife had sausage and mash and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely cosy pub! Would defin
Exceptionally friendly, great service and fantastic food. Absolutely loved our visits here and would highly recommend. Easily one of the best pubs we've ever been to. Try their scotch eggs, they are to die for!
Super impressed. Food was impeccably good 👌cooked by owners wife. def recommend for a quaint date night meal. Small pub with lovely style, relaxing atmosphere, and very friendly.
First time at The Grove Inn, lovely traditional pub inside and out warm welcome from Robert, it was busy as Sunday lunchtime but a lovely atmosphere. We had a delicious Sunday lunch, treacle tart for dessert and a locally brewed lager and cider. Will be going again soon.
Robert arranged at short notice for us to have a table in the bar area as the dining area was fully booked. Food quality & quantity were exceptional. Staff are pleasant & helpful. Do think about car parking if driving as options are limited.
We were staying locally and this was the first pub meal we had on our holiday. What a start. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food was excellent. In fact we came back and ate at The Grove Inn a second time later in the week.
