Cannot recommend this place enough, my god daughter has been to a couple of events and playgroups and always has a lovely time, the cafe is spotlessly clean, the food is really nice and the staff are always friendly and welcoming! Fantastic place �

My gingerbread coffee was amazing (so not just for kids) I will definitely be visiting again. At the back you can let kids play too and a wonderful hidden sensory room.

Had my daughters 2nd birthday party here yesterday and she and her guests absolutely loved it. The staff were amazing and dealt with my specific commands perfectly! Sorry I am a little bit of a control freak when it comes to the kids party! The food was great and balloons and decs were fabulous. Adults also commented on how lovely the tea trays were and how delicious the food was. All in all it was a great day and esmai absolutely loved it! Thanks so much for creating such great memories for us x
Our little girl had her 1st birthday party here on the 2nd Feb we hired the private party n wow it was fantastic the place looked amazing and the staff where brilliant they couldn't do enough for us would defiantly recommend to anyone kids loved it and so did the adults xx
Had my sons birthday party here and it was fabulous. It was really perfect, the venue and staff are great, nothing is too much trouble for them. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. I would definitely recommend it.

All of our guests commented how lovely it was, the kiddies all loved the food and ice cream followed by a disco. There was no pre party stress, everything was taken care of by the owners! There’s enough variety of events and activities to do when you are there - doesn’t seem to be anything else around here like it!

We went to the concerteenies event this morning. It’s the first time we’ve visited the cafe and it was absolutely brilliant!!! The facilities for babies and toddlers are excellent and the food and service was great. We will definitely be visiting again and would defo recommend!

Great little cafe. I am a childminder and went today with 3 of the children I look after a 1 year old and 2 2 year olds. They loved it. We was there over 3 hours and had lunch. We got lattes and they was lovely. The children all had beans on toast and me and my assistant had paninis which were delicious. There was lots of different things to play with and we will definitely be going back again.

Two visits in and I'm not disappointed by the Sticky Bun Play Cafe. It's large, airy, light and has a fantasic musical atmosphere. Taking both cash & card with free Wi-Fi this is a modern cafe that will give kids a great way to burn off energy. The whole cafe is decorated with a wonderful light childish theme.
Up front is the cafe bar with a small play zone and plenty of seating. There's hot and cold drinks and food as well as an array of fresh cakes and snacks available. The whole area is illuminated naturally by full height front windows where there's a small library of colourful children's books.
Around the back is a large soft-floored play zone surrounded by low walls to keep the little ones safe. The wall doubles as a food and drink bar with seating all around. The play zone has everything kids need from slides, climing frame, play tables (with lots of wooden trains!) plus a mini rollercoaster. For the mini-me's there's lots of imaginitive play too including kitchen, shop, play house and workbench.
For the younger ones there's baby bouncers and walkers plus lots of wooden toys perfect for babies and toddlers. And the icing on the cake for sensitive eyes and ears is the beautiful sensory room, just for under 2's.
Staff are very friendly and helpful and you can rest assured that the lady in charge is a long-time childminder which shows in the care and detail throughout the cafe. Waiting time for food is usually just minutes depending on how busy the cafe is and drinks are made in front of you.
Facilities include unisex toilet with potty, pottyseat and stool for little learners. There's front and rear parking and a very close bus stop either side Barnsley Road. Entrance fee is very reasonable for the kids and food and drink is well priced too. The entrance is pushchair and wheelchair friendly and is flat-floored throughout (with the exception of a step to the toilet).
Great experience throughout - looking forward to our next visit.
Had a great time at the Sticky Bun bake off. Very well organised, making food that then the kids can eat. Good value for money and nice coffee for the grownups too.
Absolutely love this place! Great for the kids with plenty of space,equipment and learning opportunities. The sensory room is fab,keeping the little ones entertained!

Really nice place, my daughter loved the 'open' feel of it and the freedom to run around a bit and the play area had a lot to keep her amused. My youngest really appreciated the small quiet sensory room. The menu for lunch was a bit limited to panini's and potatoes but they were great, tasty and well presented. portion sizes ample and my two year old really liked the chicken nuggets they were proper chicken and looked hand battered and fried. I may have even stolen one off her plate. Definitely going to go again
We had a wonderful time at the Twirlywoo Christmas event today. The cafe is lovely and the event was very nicely done for both children and adults. There are lots of different things for the children to play with and you can sit at a specially-designed counter around the side of the main play area so you have your food & drink and keep an eye on the children at the same time.
Fantastic afternoon making slime with the children! Refreshments very reasonably priced, lots for children to do and the kids enjoyed their activity day and their snack tea that was included in the cost! Couldn't praise it more, there should be more of these places around!
This place is fantastic for the kids. Loads of different events through the year. Very friendly staff who quite clearly love the job they do. We have been to a few of the events which led us to booking a birthday party for one of the kids and they loved it.
Amazing space for little ones. Plenty of space for prams and lots of games and activities. Perfect little sensory room for tiny tots and a big play space for bigger tots. Highly recommend a visit
What a brilliant place !! Noticed this play cafe while passing one day. Excellently run and equipped. Variety and quality of food very good. Friendly and caring atmosphere. Will be back.
