The owner was so welcoming and kind, we visited twice while camping nearby. All of us were beyond satisfied with our service and meals!!

This restaurant is located the scenic location of Sorn, on the highway between Ayr and Lanark. I received a warm welcome and was served a delicious plate of food. A great place to stop on my journey through Ayrshire.
A warm friendly welcome from all the staff, followed by a wonderful main course & dessert. The steak burger, chicken burger & venison steak were on the menu for us tonight and all were thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend!
First time visiting here and it won't be the last. Food, service were first class. We had the sharing ribeye and a couple of desserts. Everything was faultless. Stephanie at front of house was brilliant as were her team. The chef is also clearly a class act. 1st class all around.
Ate here via a birthday present. My wife and I had the surf and turf, it was very nice. Staff lovely and if we are in the area we would definitely visit again
We had dinner at the Sorn Inn 4/5/22 The food was amazing, prawn cocktail enormous and steaks delicious, staff so pleasant and helpful. We will certainly return soon. Would recommend there for a nice night out
The menu is small but perfect. Enough choice for the 4 of us. The menu had changed since our previous visit which was a good chance to try something new. The food is beautifully cooked and the portions perfect. A great place for a special meal. Will be going again.
We were passing through Sorn, and thought we'd see if we could have a bit of lunch, without having booked in advance. To be honest, we were expecting to have some 'pub grub' but it turned out to be more 'fine dining'! The staff were friendly & attentive.

Fantastic lunch today at a great 'dog friendly' not just 'dog tolerant' restaurant. (there is a difference). Impeccable service from the moment we walked through the door, and the food was outstanding! Will definitely be back.

Firstly it is a stunning location,with walks around local countryside just lovely. The staff in the pub were courteous and friendly.

Amazing food and service. Great for steak lovers, yet catered well for food allergies. I had the best cheesecake ever and it was vegan. Well worth the money.
