Great pub with huge potential! Had a fathers day meal Sunday ! A Chicken roast dinner and dessert, was a lovely meal and a efficient service ! Well hosted by Kevin and the superb volunteers there !!! Great stuff keep up the good work ! And tonight a Monday when the pub isn't open Kieth thought it would be a good idea for the community to open up and watch the England game! So well done to Kevin and Keith ! Was 30 plus there tonight putting plenty behind the bar with chips and beers being ordered ! A brilliant atmosphere and a good night for the somersham community and pub ! Willing to cater for everyone! Which is exactly the reason the people of somersham made it happen ! We have eaten here many times, the food is excellent and the pub has a lovely atmosphere. We had a family meal here for my boyfriends birthday, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Kevin (the Manager) is very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. He’s also very good at bringing out surprise birthday cakes!!. All the hard work is definitely paying off.

Been here a few times since it re-opened in April for food and drink and it has been very good, but the Murder Mystery Party in the pub last night was fantastic. Mulled wine and canapes were a very nice touch.
We visited last night on arrival we saw the pop up pizza � which was situated within the car park we ordered our pizza and was informed it would take 40 mins so we proceeded into the pub which was full to the beams of people enjoying their pizza!! What a wonderful welcome from the two gentlemen behind the bar offering samples of their beer before we ordered!!! Great atmosphere warm welcome we will be returning!!!
Had an amazing Sunday lunch today, all freshly cooked and I couldn’t fault the service. Would highly recommend eating here.

Gorgeous meal on Saturday night, first time we’ve eaten there (other than pizza night) and we were not disappointed. Well done Richard for the lovely food and the team for creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in our community pub. Everyone working so hard to make this happen. The pub is looking great too and you should all be proud of the achievement. Looking forward to going back very soon.

Cosy local pub! Reserved a table for 2 for Sunday lunch. The beef was Good. Plenty of veg too which was a bonus. And the meal was hot. Staff friendly. Costs really reasonable. Would visit again
Great Sunday lunch with lots of variety in the veg department and all cooked to perfection. Smiling people all around, couldn’t be happier with their service. Starters are amazing. So nice to see dogs being allowed in,very comfortable country atmosphere.
Amazing food for a great price, the staff are lovely and have been every time we’ve gone. The various events they hold are good fun too. Great local pub.

Went for Sunday lunch, we both had the roast lamb which was perfectly good as were the vegetables. A very generous plate of taste food.
We then both had the Syrup pudding which was so light and fluffy. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. There is a good choice of beer and we'll kept. The pub was not that busy which is a shame as it is a very good place to eat.
Great place, really prepared for COVID. Lovely outdoor space, flowers and decorations, big car park. Coming again for sure!!

We love our local country pub. Great food, good atmosphere and plenty of fun events to attend and get involved in the community.
An impressive building from the outside but inside much of the character has been lost as it has been modernised but nevertheless still interesting architecture. As the result of good write ups we thought we would have an evening meal so we could form our own opinions.
The menu wasn't particularly large but the dishes we choose were well prepared and presented and importantly enjoyable. The staff were very pleasant and attentive ensuring all our needs were catered for. A pleasant evening particularly as there was no loud noise something we seem to be sensitive to.
I've eaten here a couple of times recently and I'll be returning in the future. A small menu plus specials (which is perfect for the type/location of the pub) shouldn't put you off. The food is tasty and clean, and also well priced. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere, and dog friendly. A good example of what the rural community can do with their local when the only other option is for it to shut. Pat on the back Somersham.
Went for some drinks on Saturday night. Atmosphere was great with a well sheltered and heated outdoor area to allow for social distancing. The food looked very good, so we'll definitely be eating next time.
A great community run pub. An impressive building on the outside and a warm welcome inside. The food is very tasty, reasonably priced and presented with care - good food served up with good manners! Since I've discovered it I've been there a lot. It has great bands on in the midweek too.
