Dog friendly, big portioned roast, great prices and caters a large group booking of 11 - would highly recommend!
We have friends that live nearby so we went on a wet, muddy walk beforehand to devour a recommended Sunday roast.
We got a lovely corner spot with plenty of room for our muddy dogs.
The food was brilliantly priced for 2023! The Sunday roast pork and Roast beef were spot on, and very filling. The doggy roast for £5 is a great touch (the dogs loved theirs)
Will be coming back to try the other roasts on the menu!
Regularly visit here. The restaurant is stunning and so I the farm sharp. The staff are always super friendly. The outdoor seating area over the stream makes for a beautiful evening meal. There is also a really cute park just off the seating area. The food is to die for. Highly recommend the gluten free buttermilk chicken ! I always feel that this place under charged for its food. It's a hidden gem and well worth a visit.
We had a lovely lunch here today. Friendly and accommodating staff and delicious roast dinners. It’s amazing that all meals are also available in two portions sizes 👍🏻

Wow, the pub has been amazingly well renovated. Such a huge improvement!. Came with the family and absolutely loved the Don Burgers! Didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. Loved the interior decor, it's so well done. Would be ideal for cycle groups too as lots of space for bikes to be kept out the back. Would also be good for a classic car or motorbike meet. Keep up the good work and standards and we will definitely be back!
Update, came back in April 2023 and still really good. Accommodated nine starving cyclists and managed to fit us in for a quick coffee and cake! Thanks very much!
Wonderful staff. Lovely interior and general atmosphere. The establishment also has a fantastic brook running through its interior garden. The food itself is of the highest quality!!
Fantastic village property completely renovated in a stylish and sympathetic way, for locals and visitors alike. Easy going delicious pub food, great wines and beers. Friendly team and welcome. Great outdoor terrace for sunshine, and safe children’s play area. 11/10!
Top notch service and lovely food I had the pie of the day which was steak and ale on menu with mash but I swapped for chips with no problems my wife had the pork belly and my child had the pizza with a side salad.

Excellent cake and coffee. We've also sampled the sausage rolls, also very good. We are planning to come in for a breakfast next time.
Solid little farm shop cum eatery cum pub with deli items, local produce and more available for sale. The breakfast is sizeable with good rocking for the area. The service is busy but friendly. Parking gets busy so plan ahead.

Really great food and great service. Service was quick and very friendly- good selection of food on the menu. We thought it was really good value too. A tip is that if the car park is busy there is an overflow car park just up the hill.

This lovely treasure trove of shop, bar and dinning all in one.This wonderful building holds so many delightful treats the hardest choice was do I have a drink 1st in their separate bar or do I follow in incredible aromas coming from the on site restaurant. My stomach won, so I followed my nose. To be welcomed by the open kitchen, spacious, light, and well decorated dining area with the skylight above creating a delightful ambience .
It's definitely a place suited for all to be enjoyed with a loved one or friends, or the perfect setting to with family. There's something on the menu for everyone.
So impressed with their roast dinner, highlight for myself is always the variety of vegetables on offer (not just peas and carrots), a place that knows there is more on offer. Extremely well cooked pork that melted in my mouth accompanied by a fabulous homemade yorky pud(normally my biggest let down). Such welcoming members of staff who looked happy to be there that always a plus just adds to this fantastic experience. This is one not miss, even with a lovely outdoor area, I imagine in the summer will be packed.
2nd visit in a week. Warm welcome. Very well prepared food, good presentation, inside and outside tables, parking, very good value for money, wife had venison burger fantastically prepared I had Chicken Caesar salad which was terrific, oh, the waffles for sweet ...yum yum. A great place for lunch or just a coffee, and a play area for kids. Nice decking too which seems sheltered in windy weather. The quality of the food is high and there's an ambiance which is very comfortable. There's free WiFi which is great since the mobile data signal is not good. We visit it weekly, the staff are great. I had a fresh scone and butter and a coffee today. You should try it.
