Went last week for my 3rd wedding anniversary. We chose the chefs counter rather than a table and it was worth it. Got to ask so many questions and see how the kitchen functioned. Amazing food, great service. Definitely worth a visit
Sublime food experience. Very good value for money. Every morsel exquisite. Immense flavours. Exceptional service. Solihull should be proud to have Toffs
We had an incredible meal here on Saturday. The food and service were impeccable and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We had a great evening from start to finish and would recommend to anyone! Restaurant was busy and lovely decor!
Attached some photos of a few of the dishes we had.
Thank you Toffs!
Michelin stars? T’o,FFS.
Fine dining. Past experiences have been overwhelming. They have felt too formal, process driven, rather than a relaxed, sociable occasion.
Rob Palmer’s Toff’s restaurant, newly opened this week, is what all fine dining restaurants should aim to be: informal, relaxed with fantastic food offerings.
The interior is adjourned with fine wines and fine wine receptacles. Dishes and cutlery are curtesy of Heritage silverware, Birmingham’s finest.
The food quality is up humbling. Have I had better? Of all the dishes, the Duck/Carrot/Apple was the best. Simple, but the attention to detail of sourcing, preparing and delivering this dish. I salute you.
Service was sociable. Having a seat at the chef’s table. My every request and desire was met. Thank you chef for preparing an additional dish, a chocolate cremeaux and a takeaway sourdough cob.
Price. You will not get this quality of British dining for this price in Solihull. A lunch time 5 course menu will set you back £59.99.
Having eaten at Peels restaurant at Hampton Manor when it was under Robs guidance i had been waiting to try Toffs and it did not disappoint! Beautiful intimate restaurant. Food was incredible. Depth of flavour in each dish on the tasting menu. The setting, the food and the open kitchen makes the place unique. Would highly recommend!
Truly special food. Will reserve this place for special occasions (wish we could afford to go more often). Sommelier was fantastic and added real theatre to the evening. Clearly the food was the star. 7 courses and everyone was a belter!
We ate at Toffs at lunchtime on Saturday, the food and service were fantastic. The team looked after us from the moment we arrived. The food served by Rob and his team was superb. They've created a fantastic fine dining experience in the local area at a reasonable price.
Absolutely awesome food and overall dining experience at #toffssolihull - sat at the pass and had the best dining experience I have ever had in #solihull
Seriously if you live anywhere near #solihull and love #food #michelinstar level #cusine then @toffsbyrobpalmer is an absolute #must
We had a lovely evening at Toffs - the service is outstanding, the staff attentive & we got some excellent wine pairing recommendations. We had the 5/55 menu and the food was very good to outstanding. If you are visiting the area for the NEC and want to eat very well, want a special meal locally or mark a special occasion this is a very good choice
Amazing food and service, been here many times, always been fantastic! Sit at the bar for the full experience 👌 Rob and the team do an excellent job of explaining each dish and the ingredients, definitely a gem in Solihull!
Tonight was the second night inside a week we have eaten at Toffs, the food, service and atmosphere is what made us need to return so soon after our first visit. There is a very relaxed but sophisticated feel about the place, whilst delivering an exceptional culinary experience. As the only restaurant currently featured in the Michelin guide for Solihull, Toffs is up there with Simpsons and Adams. Rob and his team are really nice and if your lucky enough to get a seat at the chefs table you can watch them prepare your food. This is exactly what Solihull needed!
Long term Silhillians will know that Solihull Town centre has needed a decent restaurant for many years......decades. it now has one - well, a long way above decent - Toffs is a spectacular Culinary experience with great service and stunning ingredients. Get in there as soon and as often as possible - Rob Palmer is a wizard. Truly superb.
Went to celebrate my partner's birthday.
Great experience and will definitely be visiting again.
Staff and service was excellent with each dish being explained as it was presented.
The food itself was probably the best I have ever eaten, beautifully cooked and a lovely variety.
The relaxed atmosphere and subdued music made for a enjoyable time and we were amazed that we had been there for two hours.
Not the kind of place to go if you are in a rush but if you are looking for good food and a relaxing atmosphere I would definitely suggest you give it a try.
Seven courses of exquisite food. How is it possible to get so much flavour into such relatively small packages of food. With such places as this there is a risk that reviews contain an element of " the emperor's new clothes". I do not believe this to be the case with the reviews of Toffs. It was a delight from start to finish. Attentive service in a pleasant modern atmosphere. Go to enjoy an almost unique eating experience knowing it has a price tag, including wine,of £300 per couple.
Fabulous food, great wine and excellent service. Everything a fine dining experience should be without the pomp. Sit at the chef's table and watch the food being prepared while casually interacting with Rob and his team. We chose the 7 course with wine pairing. Not the place to come if you have to ask how much. The evening cost just over £350.
Thoroughly enjoyed the incredible cookery and brilliant front of house.
All of the dishes and snacks were just delicious. All under the experienced hand of Rob and his team. Hard to believe it had only been open a week when we visited.
Nice atmosphere, great to see the open kitchen and have the chefs present the food at the table. Worked really well.
Will 100% be back!
