I recently visited this Japanese restaurant with my friends on a Saturday afternoon, and it was a delightful experience. We were lucky to find a table for four without any wait as it wasn't very busy at the time.
I ordered the teriyaki grilled salmon, while my girlfriend went for the chicken katsu with rice. Our friends opted for the bento boxes with seafood. To complement our meals, we all enjoyed freshly made juices and bubble tea. One of the standout features of this place is the open kitchen, which allows you to see the chefs in action, preparing your dishes.
The service was top-notch, and the staff was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. We left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces, knowing that we would definitely return to this fantastic restaurant. I have to give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars for the overall experience. Highly recommended!
I came here on Thursday and the service here was amazing. Mo recommended the Bento Boxes to us and I couldn’t have asked for a better dish. The food was great and Mo’s support was fantastic. There is really good decor in the place too, and I would definitely come again.
First time EVER in Yakinori! Service was very much appreciated (always a hassle with group bills) especially with a large group of 12. Food was filling and enjoyed my time; definitely recommend a taste of Japanese style cooking!
Just stopped for a late lunch after a day of shopping and what an amazing treat.
Staff are wonderful and friendly who altered a meal due to a nut allergy without any fuss.
We had the Don Buri 'dynamite' Beef and Teriyaki Salmon. Both amazing but for me the Don Buri was very tasty. Great atmosphere with 90's & 00's classic dance tunes on which was a nostalgic blast. Overall great place and glad we popped in. Easy 5 star :)
Was hungry after a long day and decided to eat here upon discovering it was halal. Every aspect of my experience was absolutely top tier; from the service to the food and interior design, this restaurant deserves all the praise. I was served by Mo, who did an incredible job at catering and serving the food (which was impeccable by the way). He made conversation and was extremely friendly yet professional, even going so far as to give advice on what food to order whilst I was struggling to pick from the wide array of options. He was definitely one of the many highlights of my experience and the reason why I rate the service so highly. The pacing of the meal was flawless, allowing us to savour each dish and engage in delightful conversation without feeling rushed, whilst simultaneously disallowing us from waiting for the food. I ended up getting a seafood bento box, as well as sharing some firecracker chicken noodles with my family. The food was cooked to perfection and the chicken in particular was immaculate. The bento box came with an extensive range of different foods - from sushi and sticky rice to shrimp and fried calamari. Every dish was mouth-watering and nothing short of exceptional. As for the atmosphere, it couldn’t have felt more homely. It’s the perfect balance of modern elegance and a cozy decor; the soft, ambient lighting creates a warm, inviting atmosphere and the tasteful paintings reflect an incredible commitment to aesthetics. 10/10 in every aspect. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area, absolutely worth it.
Overall a pleasant lunchtime experience. Had the chicken katsu bento box - a very nice selection of sushi etc included. Portions within the bento box were a good size. Food came out quickly and service was good overall

The staff are very efficient and friendly. food is nice, except my soup and rice dish were slightly cold. maybe the whole restaurant was quite cold. not a lot of customers.
had the bubble milk tea, which is a bit watery.
Had been looking for a good halal Japanese restaurant for a long time and finally found one. Other than 3 dishes on the menu the remainder are all halal, staff are well versed on this and can advise when asked. Ordered the beef bao, chicken katsu curry with japanese rice and the firecracker chicken. Food turned up pretty quickly and everything tasted absolutely delicious. Staff member Siyam was such a lovely host, polite, courteous and readily available if we needed anything - a real asset to the Company. Rest of the staff were also very accommodating and the place had a really nice vibe. Would highly recommend.
Apologies, once again, for my toddler scattering chilli flakes all over the table like it was snow!
Last weekend we visited @yakinoriuk in Touchwood, Solihull. This was our first time at a Yakinori and we were very happy, they server bubble tea, baos, maki and bento boxes 🤤

We had all of the above and loved it, so much food and so filling. We also had a miso soup and soft drink all for £47. The only down side was the shared pot of wasabi and ginger, these two pots had been on many tables before our and the wasabi didn’t even look like real wasabi unfortunately 😞

We have many options for food in Solihull but not that many quality affordable restaurants but putting the wasabi aside @yakinoriuk is definitely a great one at a great price 😍
Yakinori is my 2 year old daughter's favourite restaurant and one of the only ways I can guarantee she'll eat all of her lunch or dinner. The food is lovely and the service is amazing every time we attend. This particular visit Mo was very attentive and was incredibly kind to my daughter, spoke to her directly and even brought her a sticker. I do find Yakinori to be really child friendly but also just great food for adults. Definitely our go-to!
I have been to this branch quite a few times and I have to say it's my favourite out of the branches in Birmingham! First, I'd like to start with the service. I am always directed to a table very quickly so I rarely have to wait at all. Staff are kind, caring and are always on hand if you need anything. I have been served by Ines a few times and she is the sweetest person I've met! The chef in particular is so lovely and I always give my compliments afterwards! The wait for the food is reasonable and often less than I expect given they are usually quite busy! Food is always served fresh and hot, and tastes incredible. Great comfort food that leaves you feeling satisfied and never heavy or overly full after. I recommend green tea (where you get free refills) for the ultimate experience! Restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, lots of colour and pays homage to traditional Japanese culture whilst still being accessible to everyone! Katsu curry is an excellent choice for a first timer. Food is halal which is amazing! I always feel inclined to pop in whenever I'm in Solihull. Overall, I never have a dull time here and would recommend to anyone looking to try Japanese food!
G great choice of food options from rice and noodle bowls to sushi. I had a nice seafood bento box, which had few different pieces of seafood and rice. The bento box comes with miso soup.
The food was good and came very quickly, which was lovely. In particular, our server Maddi was attentive and understanding to my grandmother, whose first time it was having Japanese food. She was friendly, funny and genuinely vibrant- a huge asset to the staff. Will gladly come again! yeah
Great place & super fresh fast food, really tasty & a great price to. Definitely recommend going here, loads to choose from & friendly helpful staff, decided to go for the £10 lunch with a tea, really tasty 5* vegetarian options also available
The food was absolutely fresh and amazing. Loved all the flavours of the duck and salmon poke bowl, tuna taco and chicken kokonatsu! Would definitely go again and again and recommend the place to all who love this type of cuisine! I removed a star for service as it was extremely slow and it took us several attempts on several occasions to get the servers attention.
We had an enjoyable evening here. The service was great, waiters are all very polite and trying to help you and each other. Food is tasty and fresh. Will be definitely back and can highly recommend this place ☺️👍
Always a great experience here! Delicious food, great atmosphere to the highest standards.
Me and my partner had the pleasure of meeting Mia this evening, she is so wonderful, with outstanding customer service and sociable with all customers. She is a credit to your restaurant and deserves recognition.
Staff are always super friendly, everything is halal except chicken gyzos.
Usually I get noodle box to go which has great selection of topping and sauces, the katsu chicken with a mix of teriyaki and fire cracker sauce is my favourite.
This time I decided to sit in and get some sushi which was very nice with beautifully soft rice. The teriyaki duck rolls were exceptionally delicious because of the sauce and pink onions.
I've included some pictures from previous visits which show the ramen that had a beautiful deep broth
