I cannot praise the nursing staff and surgeons etc enough. Even though my wait was long for my surgery. The staff were so lovely and attentive. It was my 1st operation so I was really nervous. They couldn't do enough for me and my wife who was allowed to stay with me right up to my trip to the theatre
Small and quiet hospital in the centre of Solihull.
Parent received good health and humane treatment from all but one staff member. Only a short amount of time spent under their care.
Staff were very proactive and fully on, with medical treatment and health issues.
Dr's and staff kept the family updated on care and plans in place. Called back when they said they would. Staff were approachable and open to discussion or information giving or taking.
Lots of parking.
Due to works going on, getting out of the car park was a bit like a carry-on movie or maybe a Benny Hill sketch. Parking payment machines need updating urgently.
2 chargers broken or damaged beyond usable use. Unfortunately, I think it was left too late for the family to look into reimbursement of them. Personal items were incorrectly taken down. For example, an item was missed off the list, so be mindful of that. The family informed staff, and the list (we believe) was amended.
But the main thing was that the care was good.
Absolutely amazing care!!! Staff / workers / nurses / consultants are all absolutely brilliant.. I had surgery here yesterday and they were all very person centred, respectful towards me, kind and polite. After care was amazing!

Review is for the Urgent Treatment Centre and Radiology Dept.
I attended early this morning having injured my knee. Pleasant receptionists and waiting room. After a short wait I was assessed by Dawn, a Nurse Practitioner and sent 2 doors along for an Xray in Radiology. Straight in, no wait. Ruth calmly talked me through the Xray procedure. Back to UTC again and a few minutes later, Dawn reviewed my Xray. Received excellent service from these two knowledgeable and experienced members of staff, and saw that all staff treated patients with friendliness and respect. Thank you very much for this really valuable service, well done!
Fractured my toe and visited the UTC (urgent treatment centre ) the doctor who looked after me , Kelly. Was fantastic. Service was quick too . She did say it's not always that quiet but from my experience a definite 5 star
My husband had an urology surgical procedure yesterday and stayed as an inpatient on ward 12. Every contact from clinician to anaesthetist to nurse to healthcare worker has been wonderful. A calm, caring, friendly and professional environment. Excellent- thank you. Highly recommended.
I have to visit this hospital quite a lot and to different departments. Recently went to have my bloods taken and there was about 30 people in front of me. But it only took around 35 minutes to be called. The phlebotomist was really friendly and chatty and made you feel very relaxed. There are disabled toilets and the ladies is always clean. All the nurses and doctors etc are all very good and very friendly. I have never had to wait more than 20minutes later than my appointment time.
Can we move Solihull hospital to Sutton Coldfield please! Fantastic care and consideration, sadly lacking in other hospitals. Appt on time, good consultation before and after. This is how hospitals should be.
Went in to surgery elective admission unit also known as day surgery, was a great experience in terms of how I was treated by nurses and medical staff. Very polite and helpful people. Was treated very kindly and was even helped to get into the taxi as I wouldn't walk. Thanks to all as staff at this hospital for your kind efforts and genuine care towards the public
Put my mind at ease regarding a very worrying situation. The doctor, radiographer and nurses were polite and professional.
I had operation here and I have to say how well I was looked after have to say a big thank you to all the team from the surgeon to the doctors nurse's and cleaners everyone could not do enough for me the best hospital I've been too
