Brilliant pub, the staff are friendly and make the effort to get to know their customers, the owners Kat and Nigel are welcoming and are always trying to improve what they do by asking what the customers want (they made the effort to start making cocktails one Saturday for my friends birthday and now this is a regular thing), the food is great, there is always something going on (live bands, games, pool, karaoke, etc) and overall the pub has a great atmosphere!! If you haven't been yet your missing out!!
The Lyndon pub let us have a room for free every Wednesday to let us use for spainsh lessons. We are very grateful. A wonderful community pub. Thank you
The new owners have really made the pub family friendly again, the bar staff are lovely, the food is great value for money and the weekly entertainment is second to none! Excellent work Kat and Nigel, keep up the great work!

This pub brought back some memories from when I was a child but last night was the 1st time I had actually been in there and had a drink. The beer was good and the entertainment was good as well as went and seen my girlfriends brothers band playing (Dry Rain). It's good to still have local pubs like The Lyndon as a lot are just eating pubs or there closing down but I hope this pub keeps going.

What a great night on Saturday Toney T was on. The atmosphere was fantastic everybody up dancing brilliant artist knows how to get the party started throughly enjoyed it � There are not many pub's left like this with free entertainment. Thankyou.

Another great night. My dad's been drinking there for 50 years. Celebrated his 85th yday there. Food, beer, welcoming atmosphere all as good as ever. Could reserve tables cos my dad was worried he wouldn't get a seat! Big praise to Kat n Nige! Brill night! X
Absolutely Great place to visit,I've been on many occasions,especially when they have live music which is mostly every weekend,And put on Great Bands/Singers...I've had many of Brilliant nights here.
Friendly atmosphere,Amazing Barstaff,who Friendly and will to help with any queries you have.
And lastly the Management well I can't fault then in anyway,they are very accommodating and will help you in anyway they can.
Fantastic place to go too,I'd recommend that you pay The Lyndon Pub a Visit,You won't be disappointed that's for Sure

Brilliant pub, atmosphere is incredible, friendly staff and the live music is a massive bonus!
Never had food but the entertainment is fantastic had many a great night there but saturday the 1st of july 2023 was awsome .Mark Green Elvis tribute got the whole place buzzing was truly outstanding....can't explain it properly you need to be there ...So get down there
we love hosting our painting events here, great private function room, friendly staff, it's perfect for us.
Good pub as always the children enjoyed the food.

Low stock of alcoholic free cider, they ran out by 9pm.

Just had my Son and Daughter in Laws Anniversary Party here. Staff are so friendly and helpful which made the whole occasion run smoothly.
The Garrison function room holds about 35 and is free. You can also bring your own food. Children have to leave by 9pm so we started at 4.30 and that left us older ones to have a dance after!
Will definitely be booking another get together soon …
Recently held my mother in law’s funeral reception here. She always loved the huge chips that she had on Wednesday bingo afternoons so it was a foregone conclusion really and they certainly did her proud.
Amazing.
Well organised (and prepared) by Patricia who’s advice was invaluable. Food was superb and plentiful catering for seemingly all tastes and requirements, (even veggie) Plenty of free tea and coffee too, always a major plus at these things and Ellie and the other bar staff were very very attentive during the day. I’ve already told my wife this is definitely where I want mine held.👍
