Came at the peak time, waited for 20 mins, 4 dishes were came all together, ordered steak, burger and food on the kid menu, food was delicious. Staffs were well trained, very friendly and professional. PET Friendly! they even gave some treats and water for my dog, very happy dog! Definitely recommend to everyone!

Lovely seating area outside, you won't get cold as blankets and log burner glowing, food was great, gluten fee options, the only thing I was disappointed with was that they added on an optional service charge without asking me. Otherwise this would have been 5 stars

Delicious food, such high standards, meat cooked to perfection, good portion sizes, service is spot on, nice for a treat due to the price of the food, but you can understand why it is a little more expensive, because it definitely is not your average pub grub, it is way more than that.

Had an absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch at The Boat...the chicken roast was amazing, the roasties were superb, and the pigs in blankets sublime! All washed down with a lovely pint. And it all started with complimentary bread & Marmite butter - you had me at hello!

We had not booked, but decided last moment to have lunch at The Boat. They happily found us a very nice table not far from a window and near a fire. Service was excellent with no waiting but not being bothered by the staff either. Food was of very could standard and value. I had the roast cod with brown crab and barley risotto with samphire, this was on the specials board. It was delicious. For desert I had cherry and almond crumble with ice cream, again very good, not too sweet. My two companions were both very pleased with their food too.

I really enjoyed it here, its such a lovely place to be, inside is very nice, for a Tuesday afternoon there was a fair amount of people in which shows they are doing something right. The food is quality and served up beautifully, will 100% be going back, i want to try a Sunday lunch there as i suspect it would be amazing.

First time here. The Boat is an upmarket Gastro Pub near one of the most expensive roads in the West Midlands. A lovely looking comfortable place. We're not Oligarchs (thank god) but made to feel very welcome by our friendly server. The food was excellent and no portion complaints from us. Fresh and well presented. It cost us £47 which is reasonable for this area I guess. We'll go back.

The Sunday roast here is amazing and the veg served with it is plentiful, fresh, tasty. The roast is reasonably priced given the quality. The staff are friendly, but unfortunately the service has been slow on a few occasions. On one occasion we finished our meal before our drinks came out and on another occasion is took close to 30 minutes to pay. Its difficult getting staff in hospitality, but hopefully service gets better so I can review again at 5 stars.

Really nice meal- friendly staff- what's not to like? My wife had sirloin steak and chips with broccoli. I had fish pie with a side of red cabbage- all very good. Coffee came with chocolate covered honeycomb - a nice touch. Quite pricey- but worth it.

Beautiful brunch served here, tahini yoghurt and fruit was delicious. Service with a smile and super outside seating choices both open and enclosed with heaters and fires for colder days.

A very nice place, nestled in a quiet posh dwelling, for a drink. Recently had a makeover with new seating in the Garden, with all heaters and fire places and not to forget the blankets too it was a delightful experience. Great guys specially the one who served us. Although not much of a choice for vegetarians and vegans. The total experience was great.

What a beautiful spot! 8 of us had lunch over the weekend and it was excellent from start to finish. A warm welcome and goodbye from Sue who could not have been nicer, and we were looked after really really well by our waitress Tiffany. The food was really delicious, and the atmosphere was great. Would highly highly recommend. The only challenge was booking via the phone. You’re routed through to an auto assistant, who then puts you through to a person but it rang out on a number of occasions. Finally got there via email.

Very nice large pub, that focus on food. Service was efficient but not very friendly. All our meal were good, if slightly expensive. The outside areas looked really good but it was to dark to use during our visit.

First time at The Boat for us. We sat outside and the atmosphere was absolutely spot on. The service was first class with our waitress obligingly taking a lovely group photo of our party. Although nearly everyone was dining alfresco, the inside of The Boat was also very enticing. Our food was excellent and we all enjoyed the really delicious sea bass. We will be returning again without a doubt.
