First time dining at the Farmhouse inn. Amazing experience for the Sunday roast. As a chef I have to say that the quality and the food portions were amazing. Beautifully carved in front of the customer on order and self serving vegetables and sauces well stored and kept warm and fresh. I have not researched about the restaurant before coming here and I have to say that I was pleasantly impressed. The prices were very low as well. Again, thank you for the great Sunday lunch experience. We'll surely be back. ๐

The food was plentiful, with lots of variety, all served piping hot and wonderful ๐ .
Chef Leroy, came to our table to ask for our opinion on the breakfast.
He was friendly and appeared to appreciate our options.
Plus, I won a slice of cake, in the raffle !!!

I don't usually leave reviews when I go out but this pub is really worth it. We have been there for a Sunday roast, very delicious food, amazing prices and great cozy location. We have been trying out different pubs around Solihull and this one is by far the best. We will definitely come back in the future. The carvery (we had the beef roast) was delicious, so tender and tasty, doesn't compare to other roasts I have tried. The standard size portion was more than enough for me, you can pick your own side from roast potatoes, brocoli, cheese cauliflower, and more..or take all of them if you can finish!

Myself and my family visited here a couple of days ago for the family to get together for my sons 6th birthday. We was welcomed by the team with smiles, they were so friendly. We didnโt have to wait long at all for our food, probably about 20 minutes or so. The food was lovely, service was brilliant. They brought my sons birthday cake out when I requested it and was just overall very helpful! They even gave a lovely and personal send off when we was finished and leaving the restaurant. I want to give a special mention to Kim, she was fantastic. Thank you for making our experience a special one! We will definitely be back.
Great place for families ๐ big portions for very good low price, and they have carvery and also big cakes that you can also take away ๐๐ very happy.
Well what can I say service with a smile from Victoria and the best carvery by far served by mo my partner is vegan and the menu made her enjoy food and feel included .we also had dessert and the selection is second to none beautiful place lovely staff and wonderful food we will see you soon many thanks

Was at this pub when it first opened..always good food and plenty of it ..but stopped going there afew years ago ..poor service and staffing problems..well trained staff was an issue...
Decided to go again this week with our usual friends and see if things have changed....unfortunately it remains the same ....Nice pub.. good food ....staff training levels poor ..

We went on an early Sunday evening, so we were expecting it to be busy, which was no surprise when we got there. We waited behind another couple to check in for our table but had no one look at us for 5 minutes to acknowledge we were there, due to it being so busy with lots of empty plates and glasses to be cleared off tables.
We checked in and was asked if we could get a drink at the bar as our table was being prepared for us, so that was fine. There was a big queue but it was clearing quite quickly, which was good. We had a young lad serve us at the bar, and I think he was fairly new as he looked like a deer caught in the headlights, but he remained calm and took his time to make sure our order was correct.
During this time we noticed people arriving and getting seated while we've been waiting to be seated as well so my partner asked the manager if the table was ready for us and he managed to find a table quickly.
The food was brilliant, I have to say everything tasted fresh and really tasty and there was plenty there for everyone. It was a shame I couldn't finish it all, but I think I overindulged. I was looking forward to trying a slice of one of the cakes, but I wouldn't be able to have fitted it in. I will be on our next visit, though.
It was nice for the manager to say goodbye and ask how everything was when we were leaving, which added a nice touch.
Always enjoy a visit to this pub. Always good value for money food. Pub is warm and clean with good atmosphere. Staff always pleasant and willing to help. Sarah made us especially welcome on our last visit
Very good service, we were a large group and the food still arrived in a timely way. Staff were courteous throughout. Food was also delicious and the meal, and overall, reasonably priced which makes a huge difference at the moment and will mean we will go there again.
We went with a large family party of 17. We had a friendly greeting from Sarah and were shown to our table. They only had one serving on the bar due to staff shortages so our order took quite some time and others were waiting to be served but the young lad was very calm and friendly. Another young gentleman came on to take our food order (John) who again was very friendly. He also brought out our food and was great with us all. The food was lovely and hot. We will return.
Had the carvery here and itโs got to be 1 of the best Iโve ever had!! The meat so tender, fresh roast potatoes and a huge selection of vegetables. Spotlessly clean and very pleasant staff. Will definitely return.
Victoria has been most helpful and very welcoming. The food is really good and I would highly recommend it. Service is good and drinks are very nice also. Would recommend this pub and would definitely be back.
Called in for a meal for six. We were warmly welcomed and were served with very polite staff. Carver was lovely as were the kids meals which included ice cream. Amazing staff. Helped with everything. We had a big group and were very accommodating, we didn't book as was a spur of the moment thing. They were more than willing to seat us. Thanks to Victoria, Chef, John and Brad for an amazing afternoon.
