I celebrated my 60th birthday here on 9th July together with my large family. We had 'the best time' The staff were exemplary and nothing was too much for them to make this occasion a special and memorable one for us. We all said that we felt as if we were on holiday somewhere in Africa. Great atmosphere both inside and out. Super place to enjoy a few hours and of course with great food and drinks!! Thank you so much to all the Akamba staff!!

Little garden centre was nice and the metal animals where definitely different and cool. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was good. My only comment was it all needed a little deep cleaning. Outdoor beach was good but full of weeds so just needs a little love

Went in the winter, loved it. Went there yesterday with friends and loved it even more. Never been to a place like it. Truly unique. Amazing food and service, reasonable prices and amazing atmosphere. Love it!

Wow! As soon as I arrived there was something amazing to see. There were huge metal sculptures of animals in the car park and lush green plants at every turn. As I meandered along the paths the African music made me feel calm and restful. There was a waterfall and so much more. The jerk chicken, rice and peas meal with mixed steamed veg was delicious! I highly recommend this place for a great day out.

Gelreat food, great surroundings, great staff, first time there today for a birthday, had to drive 55 minutes to get there... Will definitely make the journey again even without there being a special occasion. We'll be back!

Staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is amplified by the dim lighting to indulge your senses in the African culture and life as you walk (at night anyway). The food is good and the garden centre type area is well done and a overall a nice place to have some food and shop for some plants and statues!

It's a very quirky style garden centre that has metal wild animals scattered all around the site. There is also places to sit and eat or just have a drink. Better visited when it's a nice day weather wise

An absolute gem of a find! The restaurant has an authentic Kenyan atmosphere and although it has a small menu, the food is delicious and like everything else, authentically East African and Jamaican although there are some English options. To my excitement, the uniquely Kenyan beer, tusker Is served as well as Uganda’s banana beer and Jamaican red stripe! The restaurant is situated in a beautiful garden packed with African metal sculptures and a bamboo Forrest. There is also a tropical bird and reptile area for kids to hold various creatures. All in all an amazing place and coming from Kenya, a home from home perfect for the whole family.
