Beautiful British country pub with excellent food and super friendly service. I would highly recommend this beautiful little gem!! The food is so delicious and all the staff are so kind and super friendly. The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon!! Or any afternoon or evening for that matter. It's a must!!

My husband and I have been going here on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. We visited last night, our meal was oozing with flavour, the service was exceptional and there's always a lively atmosphere at the malt shovel. It's the best place for miles if you like fish, their menu is varied with an additional fish menu. You never know what's on the menu and always a various choice if fish. The service is friendly and professional. 10/10 for this fabulous place.

Food was lovely waiter was friendly and comical. We were there catching up with friends we sat in the garden after our meal & we were last to leave. Staff were lovely and never rushed us.
