Longfellows Restaurant - Solihull - Photo album

another independent restaurant which has caught my eye for a while. Ran by Doug and the team here, it looks quite small on the outside but inside is very chic and cosy with a cute garden at the back which makes you feel right at home. I opted for the Steak and Vegetable Pie with a Puff Pastry Lid a
Had a lovely Sunday lunch. Food was top notch. Fresh and full of flavour Small cosy atmosphere. Pre booked and plenty of space on the table for all the food and drink.
Yummy Sunday lunch, cannot fault it, great crackling on the pork too. Great atmosphere, very helpful friendly staff. Great place for us six nurses to have a catch up. Lovely garden at the back, which unfortunately we weren't able to use, due to the rain! The only small downside is the limited parkin
Good sized restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Staff were nice but most importantly the food was great. We had garlic bread to start which was the best I have ever had. Mains were delicious too. My only complaint would be that the desserts were only OK.
A nice gentile place for Sunday lunch. Good value, nice little courtyard garden and attentive staff make for a very enjoyable experience. Tip: the car park across the road is not just for the pub (The Boat); everyone uses it
Lovely place, excellent food. Staff are great. Had a fantastic time.
Great service great food. Would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you
Food excellent. Very polite and friendly staff. Take your time service but that was good as it was busy and we were well informed. Will be back soon.
Fantastic food at realistic prices. But there's no children's menu available, which made it slightly awkward when attending a family celebration. In their defence, we were offered a 'child's meal', but I don't think it was on par with the adults meals.
Found this restaurant via the Gourmet Society and very pleased that we did. Very good food, good portion sizes (generous starter, large main and 'just right' dessert) and helpful but not overbearing service. The price was very reasonable as well.
Very friendly staff. Small restaurant but worth a visit. Amazing food.
Had a great meal last night. Good selection of food, friendly service all at reasonable prices Jc
