Went for a family lunch - such a friendly welcome and great service. 2 mains for £15 lunchtime deal is great value. Good home cooked food - liver and bacon was excellent! BTW good beer selection too! 😉

I don't get out much, so I'll confess to having been a little nervous at venturing into an unknown pub on my own in an area I barely knew - I came along to watch James Powlett sing and play guitar for the evening.

Me and my wife Anne went there last Monday 13/09/21; had a meal & drinks sat out in the garden. Lovely pub & gardens very nice surroundings & environment. Lovely & friendly staff nice food reasonably priced. We'll be going there next Monday20/09/21: as soon as it opens.
Lovely local pub, great food, good outside space. Really welcoming staff and great choice of well cooked food. Also has a good play area for children. Totally recommend.
Excellent here, stopped just for a drink handing back grandchildren, ended up staying to eat, 6 meals for £38, pub grub but excellently cooked, served and presented. Staff very friendly. Good playing area outside for children, we could sit and watch them the whole time.

Fantastic food and service. Squeezed in a table of 13 last minute close to the end of service. They were very accommodating and I would highly recommend. This is a hidden gem which i shall be returning to. Very reasonably priced too.
