Visited the various businesses on this complex, all staff were friendly and polite and the whole place was spotless. Most of the prices for items are pretty much in dreamland but it did look of reasonable quality, however I feel that a vast majority was seriously overpriced. Opted to avoid the cafe on this occasion as it was horrendously busy so didn't fancy waiting for a table. In all it was a pleasant hour spent visiting this place for the very first time, the highlight for me was the Dutch barge, the worst thing was old people driving electric cars.

Popped into the on site Shopping Mall. Lots of quality products to peruse and tempt your wallet. Passed a pleasant hour wandering around the various individual outlets. Finally, made a purchase of some quality furnishings for the kitchen. Excellent venue.

I've given a neutral score for rooms as it's not a hotel. The shops are lovely though and good service, quite pricey but good quality stuff & some lovely walks. Popular cafe, we didn't stop as the queues were very long.

Lovely shops and cafes. Nice walks around the canals and I liked the art scattered around. Parking can get busy, so we arrived just before everything opened

It's a great place to visit for a morning or afternoon, with several nice shops and good views over the local area. You can also hire housing here for occasions with varying degrees of opulence, and there's also a concert venue on site. It's a lovely spot and well worth a trip

Situated near to Aldeburgh so easy to combine a visit to both places. A variety of shops selling furniture, crafts and plants, nice cafe and pub on site, worth a visit also for walking.

Always love to stop during my visit to Suffolk. Charming place for the whole family. I loved the vibes and decoration during Christmas break - cafe and restaurant are so cosy and served really nice food and drink.

The Maltings are really an event location. We visited for the shops. We found them a bit expensive, and there were fewer shops than I expected for the size of place, hence four stars, not five. The venue looked lovely though, parking was dead easy, and they have a few 7KW charging points for EVs and plenty of spaces for blue badge holders.

Snape Maltings is a large site with ample free parking, with buildings converted to various uses, including some really nice shops which are genuinely a cut above. And of course you can eat there. And there's an auditorium in homage to Benjamin Britten for the musically inclined. Moreover, you can take some great walks from there with views of navigable waterways and swathes of rushes. Snape Maltings was a pleasant surprise, topped off with a Barbara Hepworth sculpture. I will go again when I'm down that way.

Nov 23 One gets a much more positive impression of Shape Maltings on an out of main season visit. There is an enormous range of delicatessen and things for the home in a large Victorian warehouse and the pricing is generally fair. I particularly liked the home fabrics which are largely in natural colours and materials. There are also art and craft related businesses but those were not the reason for our visit. It's not as good when crowded with holiday makers, but we plan to return again on the next occasion we are in the area out of season.

Called in for a morning coffee, great coffee and pastries. Also explored some of the shops. We only planned this stop to break up our journey.

We went to visit the art galleries and exhibitions . Our favourite was by Alfie Carpenter - such an inspirational, talented artist!

Did not come here for the rooms! Came for the shopping and food and it was great and had a great selection of items which were handy and useful... Love the design of the old building feeling!
