The afternoon tea was delightful. Adorable decor and china. Quirky presentation and nice service. The scones were so good! I made the booking in the morning and they accommodated my dietary needs (vegetarian) which is much appreciated as many tea places do not. We ended up last to leave as it felt l
This secret treasure restaurant is my favorite in Bearwood. the whole restaurant setting with historic decoration and the large green color that can be seen by the window, these are all reasons why I love here. Tried for afternoon tea and Sunday roast beef, both were good, wish there were more optio
Very well presented, and one of the waitresses helped us move furniture to get the buggy to our table and put it out of the way. The cakes and teas are also very nice. A little on the pricey side, but the quality makes you feel like you aren't getting short changed
Stunning place, fab stuff and amazing food. Best eggs bendict I've had and then a lush scone, the cream is always 1st then the jam 😋
Great little restaurant, service with a smile. We opened for the Afternoon Tea for 3 (2 adults and 1child). Plenty if food and options. The food tasted great! Good option of Coffees and teas. The little one opted for Hot chocolate which they acoomadred for. Overall a good experience and not too expe
Neat and well maintained cafeteria. Food served hot and staff super polite and cheerful. Good for family reunion, family get together, catch up meeting over coffee and every other things in between. Plus well aerated and regulated temperature to give you that sense of home feeling.
Beautiful and friendly staff, really enjoyed the time we spent with our service users. Very cosy will definitely visit again
Lovely teahouse, beautiful decor. The staff were nice. Just a bit too pricey, just over £10 for a coffee and hot chocolate.
Great tea shop. Beautiful building, lovely setting in the park. Walked garden at the rear of the premises. Can also sit outside as a d when Covid permits
Gorgeous afternoon tea. Attentive friendly staff but not intrusive. Loved the whole experience
Lovely place with its Edwardian interior and lovely outside eating area in Shakespeare's garden. The food is very tasty and beautifully presented they are open late on Friday and Saturday and they have live Irish music on Wednesday and Thursday . Not the cheapest place in Bearwood to eat but cert
Felt relaxed as soon as I stepped inside. Staff were lovely n food was delicious. I definitely recommend a visit.
My son and I visited Jonathan's yesterday afternoon. We ordered Victorian seasoned chips which were very tasty and traditional soft drinks. I had heard that service was slow but we had no problems. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It was very warm that day so we chose to sit outside. Unfortunate
With my first mouthful I was transported, eyes closed, somewhere so comforting and delicious I cannot describe. I ordered the mushroom omelette which came with chunky Victorian chips and colcannon. I loved it. The omelette was cooked to perfection fluffy juicy and oh so buttery, and the colcannon wa
We received a warm welcome and friendly service. Best Sunday lunch I can remember. Pity it's closing down at the end of the month, hope to see the staff at The Roundhouse, Sheepcote Street, Bham which I understand is connected.
Great service as always. Take away only, preorder. Felt Covid safe. Just had a Hot Chocolate, with Bailey's, Very nice.
