I visited Star Karahi & Tandoori Grill yesterday. Tucked away from the main High Street this is truly a hidden treasure ! I've been a few times before either alone or with my family and I've never been disappointed. I was greeted by Shahid who was extremely professional and had exceptional customer service and very polite and helpful. I decided to order a range of food. When the sheek kebab came out along with the paneer starter sizzling away I was definitely looking forward to it. All brought over by the Chef himself Yasar. Well Sheek kebab being my favourite dish Chef Yasar makes the best in town by far ! He also brought over keema mutar. Omg !!! Absolutely 💯 delicious. All alongside garlic nans which were lovely. I also had ordered Chicken Tikka Karai. I left very satisfied and wonderful treatment from the team. Thank you Chef Yasar and Shahid. I took away loads home for the day after !! I will definitely be visiting again. Very good Lohori Syle food.
Hi, this is a bit of a late review for the 22.07.23 order of food for 35 people for a party. Food was hot when picked up. Items were chicken, lamb kebabs, lamb karahi, chicken karahi, paneer dish, rice, nans and dhaal. Meat dishes were made spicy. All my guests loved the food. Absolutely no complaints as usual as I have ordered for parties 4 times before over the last couple of years. Never had any issues. Too top the food, Star Karahi has always given the best price in Slough compared to other food establishments.
I have been coming here for many years . I Was starving after the gym really fancied a mixed grill. It was absolutely delicious, well flavoured and exceptionally presented. The owner and staff are excellent and provide a great service with a smile. The price was very reasonable, and I'll definitely be back!
Excellent service, delicious food! I had a family dinner last evening, kids were very happy what is most important for me, they had well prepared burgers, and the lady who was serving us was very friendly and nice. I really recommend this place
The service the customer service is absolutely 10 out of 10. The food is absolutely lovely they cook the food every day nice and fresh every time you come into Star Karah. People are so nice and they always take care of their customers and that’s what matters. Most of my favourite person who works. There is khatuna ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Best kebabs ever.
The rest of the food was just ok.
The fizzy drinks are NOT cold as the freezers never work properly.
But very Good service and polite staff.
Nice clean environment including the kitchen which is nice and clean.
If you love great tasty kebabs then you will love this place.
If you like other types of Indian food then there are other places that are better but this place is still ok.
Amazing food and service!! We were visiting from Canada and were looking for authentic Pakistani food and this place is the best. Not only was the food exceptional but so was the customer service. They were so accommodating of our various needs
We had been going to Star Karahi for many years but hadn’t dined in for a number of years. We recently had Star Karahi cater for a birthday party for our daughters and we and all of our guests were absolutely delighted with the quality and taste of the food. Highly recommend Shahid and his team for totally amazing and courteous service. Everything was perfect from salad and raita to Chicken Karhai and Chicken Biryani.

Amazing food, great menu choice, friendly and professional staff, this place is part of Slough's history. Have been coming here for 25+ years. The mixed grill is a personal favourite!

I always come here for a takeaway and I’m never disappointed. The lady at the till is always friendly and polite and always gives her honest opinion on the food and what she thinks I’ll like which is refreshing as most places will tell you to get something that cost the most money!! The chefs at the back (although I’ve never seen them) always put so much love into the food. You can tell it’s never rushed or made in haste. I’ve moved further away so I don’t get a chance to come as much as I used to but whenever i can afford to this is the first place I think of :)

It's a bit small for a large family like mine we had a party of 15 however they still seated us and took really good care of us.
Food was served promptly and the place is very clean. The food is of the highest t quality.
Very impressed.
I will definitely be returning and I will recommend this to anybody that likes traditional Pakistani food.
