We went to Swagath for a late night dinner, around 9:30pm on Saturday. The staff were so friendly, greeted us with a wonderful smile. We were shown to our table in a couple minutes, not much waiting at all. We asked the waiter about the recommendations for both Vegetarian and Chicken starters.
Starters: Cut mirchi was just like how it was made back in India. Paneer starter was WOW!!
Main course: If you're a vegetarian, dont miss out on trying the jackfruit biryani. The best we've had ever. Raju gari kodi pulav/chicken biryani is another authentic, Telugu recipe thats finger licking good.
The only compliant is that I dont live local to Slough so I couldnt go to Swagath as frequent as I'd love to ;) :)
Thanks guys for the scrumptious food!!
Great service, no fuss, traditional and authentic food. Tastes just like it does back home. The staff are also very polite and friendly.
This restaurant has it all; from scrumptious food to traditional masala tea. The ambiance, displays of spices etc…, friendless of staff makes it home and authentic! It is simply one of the best and my favourite Indian restaurants in the country. Highly recommended!
