Not sure I can think of a better pub in the area. Amazing rotating selection of cask beers and ciders, a couple of kegs, but best of all, always a warm welcome. And if you’re lucky enough to be here for cheese night you can die a happy man / woman!
Found this pub after being recommended it by a friend. Had to book a table, but be warned, if you book a late table for Sunday lunch (2pm and kitchen closes at 2.30pm) they may have run out of Sunday roasts! We just missed out on one! The one we had was good though! We need to return...... but earli
Really nice old authentic family own pub, with a lot of great beer straight from the barrels. And with a beautiful garden.
