Lovely food and attentive service, great find on our way home from the coast.

Very generous portions for Sunday lunch, the pork casserole was delicious. Served with a very light dumpling, and crispy crackling. My wife had the roast ham with whole grain mustard and maple glaze. Vegetables served separately, sweet garden peas, carrot, mashed sweet and shredded cabbage.

Absolutely wonderful 2 day stay at The Triton Inn on the beautiful Sledmere Estate.
Our rooms were extremely comfortable and very well equipped.
The food is of a very high standard and reasonably priced.
Undoubtedly what makes this place so special is its wonderful staff, very friendly and extremely attentive.
Highly Recommended and will definitely be staying again in the future. .

I grew up round here and never eaten here before, what a lovely proper country pub, perfect for those cold wintry days next to the fire. The food was amazing and the staff were excellent. I would highly recommend dinning here. Thank you.
Birthday lunch on a Sunday for 12, they gave us the private dining room which was perfect because you all sit around a large table and can converse with anyone else in the group. Service was excellent and entertaining. Food was just great for the occasion.
