Called in on a Saturday dinner time without booking, found enough tables to seat 5 of us luckily as we probably should of booked. The staff were all very friendly, the service was great and the food was also great! Good value for money, lovely seating area inside or out (outside was sheltered), would definitely return again for a meal! 👍🏻
The Ploughman's Barn which I believe is a working farm randomly appeared on my Facebook page, so ladies that lunch on a Monday ( daughter & myself) decided to visit and it was certainly worth it. There is a small farm shop with wonderful fresh produce including meat, a well stocked garden centre where I actually managed to find a yellow rambling rose which I had been looking for, for months to replace one which had died. For the children- guinea pigs, rabbits, budgies, hens, miniature goats and donkeys. The cafe was excellent with choice of eating indoors or out. Very clean, excellent service, friendly staff and the food was delicious. Well done keep up the good work, we will definitely visit again.
Had Sunday roast. Fantastic food, couldn't fault it. Great value for money too. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Absolutely recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely amazing. We went for our friend's wedding reception and the Ploughman's Barn had done such a wonderful job of making our friend's special day so lovely.

Came a couple of weeks ago and had a very good experience. Excellent for a breakfast at a very reasonable price. Great service, fantastic selection and even better food! Highly recommend the cakes (if you're not too full), plenty to choose from and spoil yourself with. Will definitely be coming again for a lunch, looking forward to trying out the menu!

Absolutely love coming here, either on my own, with family or friends. Great all seasons as they have the log burner. Breakfast is delicious, as is the panini and cakes. Only negative is I was put off ordering the deluxe hot chocolate recently as it was £4.30.
Hidden gem of a coffee shop. More than just a coffee shop it's a garden centre and food shop with donkeys (which I love) thrown in. Sunday lunch smelled delicious.
Great place to take your dog, they are made very welcome...... So are people 😊. Food is lovely and homemade, restraunt and toilets exceptionally clean.
Booked here for Mother’s Day afternoon tea for 10 of us. Couldn’t fault this one bit. Absolutely faultless and delicious. So many fresh sandwiches, homemade cakes, cups of tea of coffee ! Lovely bouquet of flowers waiting!! This place is amazing and I’d recommend it to anyone!!!
Nice welcome by staff on arrival Sunday. Lunch was tasty, and good portions also as we were there to celebrate a birthday we provided a cake and staff brought it out after main meal and also sang happy birthday .Definitely worth a visit for a meal or look around the nursery.

Food was lovely and service friendly and fast. It's not fancy but the food is plentiful, well presented and good quality. Prices are reasonable. We often go for breakfast, which are generous (also some lighter options).
