How awesome is this pub!!!
2 Australians with a need to taste the local beer on tap, this place opened their arms wide to welcome us in and make us feel at home. Bonus of the night was joining in the quiz with Sid and Robert, run by legend Sam, we had a fabulous evening. Thanks to the Nags Head crew
Update June 2023 what can I say? An excellent Sunday lunch again with a pint. Banana cheesecake was sublime. Love the cauliflower side dish. If you're in the area you should check out the Sunday lunch for sure.

Staying in the village of Heckington for the week, so pre booked a table for England v Ukraine game. Great friendly atmosphere, they even got a bottle of fizz especially for her indoors. Will be back on Wednesday for more, if not before. 👍🙂🥂🍷🏴
Very good atmospheric local pub, well worth a visit on a one night off, or a trip if you're local. Friendly staff and lovely, although small, selection of ales. Find and spirits in abundance. Long serving hours. Good toiletry amenities.

Brilliant little pub. Very busy but never failed to be served. Craig, in particular is an excellent bar man and has a great sense of humour. Would recommend to all.
