Been tonight for the first time since the place changed hands. 1 of us had the mixed grill and 2 of us had the lamb shank with minted gravy. Awesome quality food for a reasonable price and an amazing atmosphere. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back at the next available opportun

Just popped in for a quick drink. Staff are lovely and friendly. Had a look at the menu and will definitely go back for a meal
Lovely rural pub. Friendly staff. We had lunch here. I had Scampi which was very good. I had Sticky Toffee pudding for my sweet which was to die for. Best ever.

A brilliant example of a traditional English pub. Good local food, friendly service and excellent selection of drinks. The bar area has a great atmosphere and is a nice area to eat in too. A very clean place throughout, and nice decor.

Food spot on with steak cooked to perfection as was my wife's suet pudding.
Good range of desserts and also beers/lagers.
Dog friendly though we left ours at home, others were well behaved.

Called in for lunch and came away well fed, with good food and drink. Nice staff and a really special pub garden.
Stopped on the way to Wells Next to Sea to have a drink and absolutely loved this place, such a lovely place, beautiful garden with tables and chairs, the menu looks great too so going to stop for a bite on the way home.
Was there on Sunday....the meal was gorgeous.....and loads of it .....the pudding was beautiful aswell.
I had a lamb dinner and sherry trifle .....I was absolutely full when I left.
The staff are so polite and couldn't do enough for you...They really were an absolute credit to the place.

An excellent meal in a lovely pub. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and although it was only our second visit, they made us feel like we were old friends.

Really welcoming friendly people. A pretty beer garden with tons of flowers. Great service and great food, if a little pricey. They kept the kitchen open for us! I would visit again.

Went here for a meal for the first time this evening. The pub itself is a lovely old building, with some quirky features which make it interesting to walk round. The garden is small but absolutely beautiful, I'd like to take lessons from the person making the hanging baskets! The pub is immaculately
