Found this by accident but what an amazing find. The food was outstanding, very well priced and the service could not have been better, nothing was too much to ask for from Emma and the rest of the staff in the bar and restaurant. The menu had a great selection and also the specials board. This is

The only dining option in Slaley. We were staying in nearby Rye Hill Farm and ended up having our meals on both days here.

A great little community pub with excellent food. And well priced for the amount you get!
The room was clean, spotless actually and the facilities were good, tea, coffee, biscuits. Nice hot shower, radiator could be put on or off /to your liking (whatever time of day or night). The best thing was the bed, it was as good as/if not better than a Premier Inn bed, so guaranteed good night's
Nice little pub. Only had one drink before going off to a wedding so didn't eat but the food looked near spectacular. Stayed there over night and the room was clean, pleasant and quiet. Easy parking and a nice little location.
Excellent community owned pub,sensibly priced beers,wines and spirits also serving fantastic food. Good quality b and b with friendly local staff and a lovely laid back atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Travelled from Glasgow to stay and golf at slaley hall and stopped there for a few pints on the way home,driver's excepted!!!!
Although we've only visited a couple of times, each time was wonderful. Gorgeous village location, friendly, welcoming staff, sparkling clean facilities and delicious food. Really good menus and great to see several options for vegan and vegetarian too.
