We visited on Sunday mid morning...it was busy but we got seated straight away. The food was lovely...a little bit of a wait but to be expected and was very tasty.
Amazing first visit!
Friendly and welcoming staff on arrival.
The food was superb. We all tried a few dishes as wanted to taste everything and were very impressed.
We'll definitely be back soon!
A fabulous evening with family. Northern Sole is so chilled you relax as soon as you walk in. And the kind of place that can cater for all. Had a lovely two course meal with excellent wine and beer. Service was friendly, professional and timely. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and Carl. x
Northern Sole Cafe is a great little place with a nice outdoor seating area.
The food is great and the staff are amazing, you can reserve a table or just pop in, they also can prepair your food for collection to take away, which is very handy.

Me and my partner came here on Saturday. Had such a nice time. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, great food and fantastic tunes!! Really nice laid back staff and proper value for money! We're coming back on Thursday for some live music ❤️
Lovely location with great staff. Sat outside on a sunny day which was nice, had some music on and staff came and checked what I needed regularly. Great local beer on offer and the food is great. Love the themes based around the food. Seem to have events on regularly will defo be back
Hands down the best breakfast EVER, fresh tomatoes (not tinned) herby mushrooms, the meat is local and delicious as is the veg, from the greengrocer across the road!! The staff are delightful and so helpful to getting cushions for my husband to be able to sit comfortably to checking if we need a top
Amazing little place right next to the canal. Great food, great atmosphere, great location, great service. Real nice buzz about the place. Dog friendly too if you have one. Well worth a visit if you're ever in Slaithwaite.
My first visit today for lunch as a group of 4. Not nice weather outside, but still busy and buzzing. A great welcome, lovely staff, plenty of choice on the menu. One vegetarian in our party and plenty of choice for him too. Looking forward to returning and trying the outside seating. Thanks to Carl
Gorgeous cafe! Lovely to sit inside or outside (which has heaters, shelter and cushions!), has very tasty food, great selection of drinks and friendly staff. A gem of a place.
Love this place ! It’s our regular Friday morning dog walking treat . The Wigan Casino Breakfast 🌯 Burrito is a thing of wonder - how is it possible to fit a Full English in a wrap ? Wonderful stuff . All swilled down with lovely coffee .

Had a breakfast wrap from Northern soul cafe & the food was outstanding.. we were served by a young lady who always had a smile on her face, service was very fast & would highly recommend. 👍
Called in this morning not sure what to expect. It was quite busy with a lovely atmosphere and great music. The cappuccino was exceptionally good and then we had the best breakfast that we have had in a long time. All the staff were very friendly. We will certainly be coming back.
Love this place. Interesting decor, good music and great food. Lots of wraps, toasted sandwiches, burgers and dogs as well as salads, loaded fries and Mac and cheese. Caters for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Live events too.
By far the best food you will taste. The staff and owner Carl are so welcoming and down to earth have great humour too.... such a great place to eat and chill you will not find better environment....very reasonably priced also. Thanks Northern Sole
