Love visiting this place. Great staff, love the coffee and cake after a wet but excellent hike through the forest. Well worth the drive if you want to unwind and take in the lovely surroundings this area as too offer.
A great little place to start a walk or bike ride around the many tracks.
Amazing cakes and tray bakes ❤️ Friendly staff. Take card.
We tried: biscoff millionaire shortbread, peanut slice, and carrot cake. All 10/10.
Visited for a bike event in the forest. Super friendly service, loaded nachos highly recommended. Relaxing upstairs seating
Brilliant place really grate food keep you going and grate place to visit parking can be a bit pricey but if spending the day why not grate long trails for MTB Ridding .
Fetched the kids here to do the interactive gruffalo trail and it was an excellent experience w loved it just as much as the kids and would certainly recommend it to anyone who was thinking about this.
This is not a pram friendly route when we went. People had tried to drag prams around.
Very nice staff, coffee was what you asked for, closing on 3rd October for the season
Really nice and cosy cafe, dog friendly and tasty food.
Absolutely fantastic place to take children, lovely walk, well thought out and only £3.50 to purchase a super snake trail pack, well worth it.
Excellent facilities and a good cup of coffee. We had an excellent walk too.

2 lovely ladies served us just before they were about to close, very friendly and welcome! Cake and coffee were amazing!!
A brilliant place to finish or even start your journey whether it's on foot or 2 wheels. The staff there are very accommodating and the food is delicious. They cater for allergies too and I can recommend their gluten free carrot cake and tuna salad sandwiches.
LOVE ❤️ this café
This is the best place ever for family's, no matter if your out for a Sunday walk with the entire family or just fancy a slow bike ride then this is the place to be! If your more adventous then you can go one different routes that test your biking skills to the max! There are so many different routes to take and things to follow and do its just a perfect place to be. There is a fantastic cafe to round the day off with the best selection of cakes ever! It's my family's favourite place to meet up and have fun and we always end the day with a huge family picnic on one of the huge family tables that are placed all over and a play on the children's play area and sand pit to finish. Parking is now paid via the Internet within 24 hours after your visit so there's nothing stopping you having a great day out.
Great place for both big and little kids on bikes (well the blue trail is at least)
First time we've visited gisburn forest/cafe. Was a lovely day out, beautiful surroundings and easy to find. Parking easy, pay on exit and the food in the cafe was very nice and definitely set you up for a walk around the forest.
Went on the zog trail for kids and needed a hot drink after. The cafe is really nice and welcoming the food and drinks were delicious
My closest mtb forest trail and it's brilliant! They make excellent use of the limited altitude to create a well considered red trail in a figure 8. The lower loop is better groomed and not as challenging as the upper loop but both have highlights - the Hope trail is a fab descent with testing jumps and drop-offs. Hully Gully is an inspired bit of trail design but a bit beaten up in today's visit. The alternative called Long Way Down is less scary but wonderfully entertaining. There's nothing huge here, it's all approachable and absolutely excellent for intermediate and improving riders.
The cafe at The Hub is good, coffee is excellent, cakes are outstanding. Other visitors today had hot food and reported it was v tasty.
Tough old mountain bike red trail very technical very slippy in certain section but still great
