Called in our way back from Leeds.Trying to find a pub/restaurant that served food. Glad we found this restaurant. The food was great the only exception was the Brocolli was a bit too hard. I had the HUNTER’S CHICKEN SCHNITZEL
topped with a BBQ & tomato sauce, crispy bacon and melted Cheddar, served
First time visit, and very enjoyable. Staff very friendly and efficient, which created a nice ambience. Food was excellent. My sister and I had the chicken and pancetta pie, with fresh vegetables and proper mash, whilst our cousin had fish and chips. Delicious.
Food was amazing! Staff are very friendly, service was quick. If you get a chance try the beef lasagna.
Dog friendly, plenty of non alcoholic beers too. Will be back again thanks guys.
Really really nice. Have to admit was expecting typical pub grub but this certainly wasn’t
We where a group of 6 ladies on a barge holiday and had not booked and took the chance on being fitted in. The staff where absolutely wonderful - we where served by Beth, Kris, Arleta, Derek. Your staff where outstanding and it should be recognised - nothing was too much trouble and it had been a l
The bay horse was nice enough it being a canal side pub, but it was nicer when it wasn't a chain pub about 15 yrs ago.
Nothing wrong with anything about the pub but you could tell it was a chain pub straight away.
Staff were great, food was good enough for a chain pub. We probably will return at som
The Bay Horse is a lovely homely welcoming pub/restaurant with really friendly and attentive staff. First off they checked for any allergies in the group which I thought was a really good starter for 10 and something I've ever been asked before. Other establishments take note. We're light eaters so
Excellent service and excellent food , dog friendly too so will definitely call again
Nice welcome. I had left my glasses at home so our lovely waitress found me a pair to use. We ordered sirloin steaks and they were delicious. 1 with chips and peppercorn sauce, the other with bernaise sauce and salad.
Also ordered 2 cappucinos which were served with a little flapjack. Possibly the b
Very quiet, choice of tables, excellent service, polite and attentive. The food was well presented, nicely cooked and plentiful.
Good choices on the menu to suit us all.
Popped by here after a terrible country pub experience shortly before somewhere else, this place though was much more like it, friendly and welcoming, lovely interior and super chill. It was pretty expensive, for a medium Malbec and a pint of larger it was £13.50. Which is a little mental but the so
We called in to the Bay Horse on Sunday for something to eat. We order our food and drinks which arrived not long after, it was a beautiful cooked Sunday roast, the trio of meat was cooked really well, reasonable priced. The lady who served us was polite and we had a really enjoyable visit. 👍
Lovely staff and lovely food. It seems to have changed a lot and it's a much better menu. Love it. Xx
Went for Father's Day lunch. There were 10 of us. Staff were lovely Service very good. 3 course Sunday roast £25 each. Good size portions
Lovely pub situated on the canal, can eat inside or outside, staff lovely and friendly, very accommodating with baby, food lovely, not a massive choice of sandwiches or light snacks for lunch however can recommend the steak sandwich. I have been here a few times now and never been disappointed
The best meal I've had out since lockdown.
I had the soup and Lasagne. Both were fantastic. Great portions and the food was pipping hot 😋 the service was excellent also. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. They've introduced a new app to order through and this was very effective with incredi
Very dog friendly (water and treats on tap!) and great food choices for the humans. A nice 40 min walk from Skipton centre makes this place worthy of a visit whilst enjoying some of the canal side wildlife en route.
