Fabulous place to escape the crowds. There are a couple of tables upstairs in this deli and cafe but if you go downstairs into the basement, you're in a peaceful little oasis. Food is excellent - menu is simple, ingredients first class, coffee is excellent and prices are very cheap. There's enough room downstairs for groups of people and opera playing quietly in the background. Very friendly owners. What's not to love?
Lovely cafe and tea room. Very friendly staff, made us feel really welcome and time for a chat, cakes were delicious and a great cup of tea. Bought some lemon curd to take home, highly recommend a visit and definitely the caramel cake xx
