First time here. The service was 100%. Very lovely staff. The food was amazing... every single dish was made to perfection. So so tasty and the drinks were lovely too! THANKYOU
We went to La Casita for the first time for our 7th wedding anniversary. Absolutely beautiful food, lovely attentive friendly service and very reasonably priced for exceptionally good quality food. So many dishes were highlights but we particularly loved the sea bass in saffron sauce and butternut squash in bourbon with goats cheese. Superb, we'll be back!
We have been to La Casita Skipton a handful of times and it never disappoints. The dishes are delicious and very well presented. I'd highly recommend it for a special treat or occasion!
Last Sunday of the month is all you can eat tapas for £25 per head, very good value with the same level of attentive service and quality on a full price day. Varied menu in a Daliesque setting in a quiet corner of Skipton.
A great tapas restaurant with a superb menu, one of my favourite places to eat in Skipton. The staff are super friendly and the space is really well designed and decorated. The music was quite loud upstairs on our last visit, an elderly relative couldn't hear us, but they moved us downstairs with no fuss, very accommodating.
It was reccomended by a local. The tapas are fairly small giving you the opportunity to taste the delicious of each one of them. We had 3 each and every one of us loved the sharing. I have visit Spain various time by car, by boat and by plane. I have never found such of delicious taste in any of the various restaurant I went. La Casita is super good. Worthy it a visit. Parking is a bit hard to find, I did not visit the toillets the overall deco is slightly dated but the food is delicious
Booked online very easily. Arrived without a mask (I left it in the car) but the man who greeted us provided me one. Small drinks menu, their speciality is espresso martinis & they did not disappoint. In fact when I mentioned that I can't have caffeine, the same kind man offered to make me a decaf version! Now that is upselling & great service. 👌🏻
Food was delicious but to be honest the atmosphere and company made it a wonderful relaxed night. Will definately be back. Thank you.
Just popped in for a quick lunch before travelling home. What a great find! The food is SO fresh. We will definitely be back!
Great little lace that we tried for the first time this Xmas. Great waitress who provided good service. Gambas were small for the price but everything else was fine.
The food here is beautiful and the all you can eat a great deal. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, explaining the menu and how many dishes can be ordered at once. The chorizo, prawns and meatballs are a highlight. Well worth a visit!
Very impressed with fast friendly service, great beer and food.
Great food and good service but wine list wasn't the best as they didn't have all wines on the menu.
Wine is significantly over-priced too, starting at £24 per bottle.
Having a good house wine that is more affordable would increase the satisfaction of customers.
To be honest , I love good food
I gotta say the food here is very good, the menu don't change that often but it is really good .
The staff although young, are attentive and good at their job.
Service can be slow if they busy but they will always get to you. The place in Skipton is nicely decorated and pleasant to visit.
We have been for a number of times and has become one of our favourite dining places
And if you go on Saturday afternoon they have Guatamala dwarf wrestling live on TV ...
( Kidding )
Fantastic food and drinks - can’t fault a thing! Particularly recommend the pork belly bites, the croquettes, the goats cheese (and the espresso martini with Baileys!). Brilliant menu - we were spoilt for choice and would need to come back a second time to try all the dishes we’d like to!
I know we're not actually in Spain so the food isn't going to be that authentic but it's the first time we've had Calamari chopped into small bits. But mostly the food was enjoyable.
Shame the lights kept going off and on even though on this midsummer evening they weren't needed at all. It also got too hot for us upstairs, do any of windows open?
As the evening went on the service seemed to be stretched and dropped off.
I live in California, so I'm a little spoiled with Mexican food. I though the food was pretty good. When I ordered what was on the menu, "I'll have Albondigas soup" it was funny that I heard back, "okay one oxtail soup." Funny that at a Mexican restaurant, they weren't comfortable using the words that were on the menu.
1st time at La Casta in Skipton, I've been to the Ilkley branch a few times.
Went on Xmas Eve with my daughter. The food was as always brilliant. We had about 7 or 8 items. All were nicely cooked hot and well presented. The drinks were good, and the cocktail was really nice.
Marked down the atmosphere because there really was none, I think at its peak that lunchtime, there were 3 tables in. I would put that down to the day rather than it being the norm. To be fair, that suited me as I struggle to hear in places where there are lots of people talking at once.
The service was spot on, and the staff were really pleasant.
In short, try it if you have not already. It's great food and service and value make it well worth a visit.
