After a long time, eventually we have found a beautiful cosy pub with open fire, very nice sandwich menu and welcoming owners. Can't wait to come back. Thank you very much for keeping old tradition :)

Called at the Fox and Hound pub after a walk from Kettlewell, even though it wasn’t opening time and we had muddy boots and a soggy wet dog wet and we were made very welcome. Enjoyed our coffee and chat. Thank you

We came in on a Friday evening at about 8pm and were told that they could only serve fish and chips. We ordered as it was getting late and not many restaurants opened late. It was one of our best fish and chips in all the UK, the size of the fish, the batter and the chips - All 5/5. Only reason that I am rating it 4/5 is that they could have made food from the menu, as the kitchen was still open and other food from the menu was still being served. The other food from the menu looked amazing by the way and one day will be back earlier to try it !

Perfect Dales pub. Naomi, is warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Shelley and Dan are the perfect combination as Landlords and the food is delicious. When visiting Kettlewell, go that little bit further because you won’t be disappointed 😁🥰

Nice local pub with very good beers - including local cask options. Food is good (although finished by 2.30 for lunchtime) Extensive outside seating area at the front. Recommended.

Stopped for lunch whilst out walking with the family and dogs. Food was excellent as always, had the Battered Haddock sandwich which came with fries. Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay over.

We visited this pub last night as we were staying at Kettlewell. I was with my husband and my sister. The weather was horrendous, it was windy and raining outside, but from the moment we walked through the pub door, into a warm, cosy brightly lit room, complete with a roaring log fire, we felt at home. We were greeted with a warm smile immediately and all of the staff were so attentive and kind. We all enjoyed our meals which were delicious. We were seated in a dining area next to a large group of ladies who were also enjoying the atmosphere, when they left, the landlady and staff kept popping in to see if there was anything that we needed, they couldn't do enough for us. The thing that surprised us most was the fabulous atmosphere in this bustling pub, full of really friendly people who made a point of saying hello, we felt so welcome. The one downside was that we don't live near enough to be regulars at this pub. Look forward to going back! Would very strongly recommend!

A very busy little country pub popular with walkers, dog friendly, and very cosy. The staff are cheerful and efficient, giving the whole dining experience of a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is traditional Yorkshire favourites with an extra twist of excellence and extremely well presented and prepared with quality throughout. I will definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

Fell into this place during a walk over Buckden Fell. Nice to find a traditional pub that still feels like a traditional pub. On this cold day it was also good to find a roaring fire and some good beers. Warmed us up nicely for the afternoon part of the walk back up to Buckden.
