What can I say I called in with my mother and two aunties for a bite to eat while shopping. I decided to choose off the light bites menu, we ordered a few sides too. What was delivered was not a light bite, my Ploughman’s lunch had so much cheese I seriously contemplated a 'doggie bag'. The sides of chips were massive and easily fed us all. I was so full I couldn’t even think about cake, this never happenes I love my cake, to leave without cake is traumatic. The think that struck me most though was every item was served on white plates, not a wooden board or slate in sight just plates, nice easy clean, hygienic plates. Perfect, I will return to sample the cake.
Fantastic place, the staff are so nice/friendly and the food is amazing, hygiene is outstanding. Me and my son always pop in for a sandwich and cake, got to have the cake it's amazballs. Can't wait for our next visit
Keep up all the fantastic work folks.
From a Coeliac point of view this was amazing and they had more than one choice too. Lovely setting and friendly staff made our visit a pleasure. Will certainly return when next in Skipton.
a lovely place to treat my grandma for her birthday lunch! wonderful staff and food, we'll be back again soon!
This is a lovely cafe food is delicious staff very friendly highly recommended anyone to call in
Lovely place nice food and nice to sit somewhere the dog can go too xx
Lovely place with excellent, helpful staff , will go again
Lovely cream tea for two. Excellent value, served warm scones with lovely jam and cream.
Lovely place to eat food and service great, Lovely setting.
Very nice cafe. The location is amazing. Lots of nice independent shops in Craven Court.
The menu here is extensive. Something for everyone!
I went for a jacket potato with cheese and a side salad. The potato was a little on the firm side for me.
There is a lift to the mezzanine level.
Food always very good. With it being cold on the terrace, on this occasion we sat inside opposite where the tills are. It was quite noisy due to cutlery being thrown into a bin presumably for washing and loud conversations from staff stood about that area. Don't think they were aware of how much noise they were making !
Won't put us off coming back, but we will be sure not to sit there again.
The food was nice, I don't think it lives up to the pricing however. Definitely on the high side. Really nice place to go though, the market is great. Left a little disappointed with the service too, a smile goes a long way is all I'm saying.
We had a lovely brunch at The Terrace on Sunday morning, 17th March. We were looked after by a lovely young lady called Gabby. She was very efficient and smiley. Nothing was too much trouble. She’s a great asset to your business.
It was like a trip back in time, waitress service. We had a cappuccino and a cafetiere with slices of Bakewell tart. Whoever iced the tart had been very heavy handed which made it too sweet. Very busy when we went on Wednesday. Reasonable prices.
Lovely place to sit:outside, inside kind of place. Didn’t eat, but hubby says tea was great and I had one of the best iced coffees I’ve ever had. Lady the took my order was friendly and had a great sense of humour. I left with a smile on my face :-)
Goid place, prices initially a bit pricey, but....wait till you get your food. Very generous portions 👍😋😋
