Quiet Wednesday night out of tourist season. Beer very good & a quaint canal side location.
Popped in for a winter warmer before walking back to our hotel. Beautiful little venue. Really cosy atmosphere and decked out with interesting things to look at.
Hubs was delighted as they serve Magnus beer which is GF. Lovely service. Wish it were local.

Had a welcome drink overlooking the canal basin on a cold miserable day. We sat by a roaring fire. Friendly atmosphere. We did not eat here.
Hugely friendly with great beer selection. Light and dark. Staff very friendly. Atmosphere compromised by noisy lycia louts..but a haven nonetheless.
Lovely spot by the canal with views of boats passing and easy to access on foot from town centre. Great choice of ales too.
