The Castle Inn - Skipton - Photo album

Such a cosy pub, staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Comprehensive menu selection, chicken, ham & leek pie and steak & ale pies were homemade, as were the chips, together with fresh vegetables, absolutely delicious. Dog friendly too, dog biscuits supplied!
Caught it on a very busy day and was struggling for a seat. We managed to get sat down in a very small corner of a room, and just fit to the table 😅. Never the less the food was cracking and great filler plate portion sizes 😋.
Great traditional style pub. Fantastic food and good service. A little cosy seating wise when eating. In the summer you can also sit outside. Good range of beers.
The food here is absolutely gorgeous! And with quite generous portions. Staff were lovely but it is a busy place and it was a bit of a squeeze between the tables. It's dog friendly and the staff are more than happy to provide a water bowl for your dog
Good traditional pub with very good scampi as seen in the picture. Very good service who was very nice to us. Had an entire wall covered in coasters, which looked really cool.
Easter 2024. Lambs liver and onions. The best liver and onions I’ve ever eaten. It reminded my of the Christmas carol Silent Night. So tender and mild. Beer, good. Atmosphere, great. We shared an outdoor table and great conversation with a local couple. Location, great. Skipton castle was perfect,

A cosy, old meets new 1800s coaching inn. Full of character, with warm and welcoming staff and a nice selection on tap. My wife and I had the Mushroom & Guinness Pie with chips & veg and it was very tasty, perfect for a rainy March Wednesday. I washed it down with a pint of Gamma Ray. The pub is ex
Absolutely amazing food, we had the steak and ale pie, and the chicken pie. Both meals came quick and hot, triple cooked chips, chunky and crispy, steak pie gravy was divine. I was apprehensive after reading some reviews, but I am absolutely delighted we came, cannot fault anything at all.
Wow! Totally amazing! The bar snacks were fabulous! Really nice drinks & fantastic service. I loved everything about my experience, I would 100% recommend this lovely bar, it's at the bottom the main street so could easily be missed, but it's worth the effort to go a, few extra yards!
(Translated by Google) An incredibly welcoming pub. We were the

Glad we chose this place for lunch. Excellent menu, incudes vegetarian and vegan. The pies are amazing- both the steak one and the mushroom one. Definitely recommend it!
While staying in Skipton for a long weekend with friends from different parts of England. We went to this pub after going for a meal. Great atmosphere, friendly locals and a female customer who could tell you what number was on the dice each time you rolled. 🤷
Really good food. The staff were really polite and competent. Dog friendly Decent prices Castle and here a wicked day out
Lovely place and lovely staff. Tasty food though some was a bit overcooked. Excellent pint of old peculiar.
