Quirky little pub next to the canal food was excellent as was the service. My husband had the steak and ale pie the best he's ever had and the beer battered fish was to die for. I would highly recommend a visit to this pub.

Fantastic little place, we went today as all the others were rammed with it been bank holiday, didn't know this one was there! Excellent friendly service, food was amazing (best vegetarian meal I ever had) and great value for money. We ended up sat in there for over 3 hours! Well done Narrow Boat :-) we will be returning!

Brilliant beer! One of the last pubs in UK to allow beer to be served with an Autovax! Really good food too - watch out for the sea food plata

Amazing little place tucked away. Friendly staff, great seating/lighting and superb food. Dog friendly too. Small offering as it was Sunday but I knew that before I arrived. The Guinness steak pie was incredible, a huge portion and full of flavour, £16 but worth it. Nothing microwaved and great service. I struggled to move after I was so full! I Didn’t have an alcoholic drink but the coffee was excellent. The washroom was also nicely decorated and clean. Highly recommend.

Went to the Narrow Boat many years ago but as we were in Skipton we sought it out for a revisit. Well it has only got better! Beer was fantastic at an average price for a craft beer. The place was warm and had comfy seating. We didn't eat here so maybe next time. I wish this pub was closer to my home as I would almost live in it.

What a lucky find this place is. We were stopping off in Skipton on-route to the Yorkshire Food & Drink festival. We had the best Steak and ale pie ever. Proper huge hand cut chips to boot, all washed down with some fantastic quality craft ales in a really friendly pub. Staff were super efficient and knowledgeable 👍 Will definitely return when we are in the area again.

Wonderful place, we visited on more than three different occasions during our stay in Skipton. Ate here twice and the food was incredible and good portions. The drinks were also another reason we kept coming back, as well as the lovely staff and great ambience and atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Had the pleasure of the Christmas meal, duck bon bons, sea bass and black forest mess all washed down with a pint of blackcurrant sour. Very full and very happy 😊

Recently refurbished. Nice food with equally nice beer. Great atmosphere. Dogs allowed and it attracts many on a weekend, so expect to hear the odd loud battle for territorial superiority. Occasional stuck up local, the type that demand "their" seat back after leaving the establishment for 10 minutes or more.

On a day trip to Skipton, I noticed the Narrow Boat pub had been done up by Kirkstall Brewery. They have created a "traditional" look. I had Duck Gyoza with a massive salad. Delicious. I also had a couple of cans of Virtuous 00% UPA - a new Kirkstall addition: really tasty. Barman/waiter Dan was great and deserves a mention. I am newly retired and going on Spring/Summer train trips from Bradford Forster Square so will be back.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Conistone. A simple pub lunch but good food and service. Not a fine dining place but ideal for our needs on the day. I would visit again.
