As a Thai chef, i must say there are not many truly authentic Thai food around that i think it's good but Thai Basil Skipton is one of the exception. Food tastes excellent and staff are fantastic. I will definitely come back when I visit Skipton again and would recommend this restaurant xx
Stumbled across this little place by accident, which was a nice find.
We've been here twice for lunch now,
The building is in need of bit of tlc & decorating,
But don't let that take away from the quality of food..
Both times we've visited we've had the lunch menu.

The atmosphere was a little lacking due to mid level lighting, fine for a friendly get together but wouldn't suggest as a date night venue. It also seemed to empty/close
Tasty Thai Restaurant in Skipton. In fact as a tourist, felt this was the best place to enjoy a tasty soulful meal after a nice hike to Malham cove. Food is all authentic and won’t disappoint one bit. Interesting ambience. Prices are reasonable too. Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant, quite small probably 33 covers so you might need to book at a weekend. We had the set menu which was exceptional value. Food and service both 100%, would definitely recommend 👍👍

Really nice tasty food but the jungle decorations, stuffed tigers, parrots etc were not to my taste.
It is a lovely old terraced house which lends itself to a more tasteful decoration.
Top quality service, very good food. Lovely atmosphere. There are only few tables and can be busy on weekend evenings so booking in advance recommended to avoid disappointment. Pad Thai, all soups, Tom Sum salad and lightly battered king prawns just fantastic.

This is a great Thai restaurant. The interior is really interesting with lots of tigers and parrots, which is nice but more importantly the food is great and the service very good.

I’ve been here twice now. They have recently had a re-vamp inside and it looks a lot better! The food was really nice both times and the service was great! I would definitely recommend!
