Amazing pies to suit all tastes. Fantastic mash and great gravy. Very reasonably priced and of course lots of traditional puds to follow if you have space. The Homity pie was particularly good.

Easily the best chicken & mushroom pie I've ever had!! Was so nice that I bought a couple to take away with me!! Service was great and friendly staff that work there!! Would be worth the 2hr drive for another one of these pies!!!

Really good. Good value and really friendly staff. Only criticism, my pie was only just warm enough. Going again soon!

A good selection of pies and all that I've had have been lovely. The mash is great too, and very creamy. The prices are very good too, with a good sized meal costing only around £5-7. The staff, despite being very busy when we arrived, were quick, on top of clearing the tables and very friendly. Especially once it calmed down a little, they were more than happy to have a chat with people.

Fantastic pies, made fresh on the premises. Can be served with chips or mash. Friendly staff and good service. Very busy at peak times, but worth the wait for a seat. Toilets are upstairs for any disabled visitors, but the food is worth the visit. For those who can't manage stairs pay a visit before you visit.

The building is lovely and really relaxing inside. The photos on the wall make it so atmospheric and the smell really gets your taste buds going. The choice of food is limited but all the pies are made behind the scenes, you can also have cakes and pastries that are homemade. I can honestly recommend their scones, never tasted better - totally gorgeous. There are many pies to chose from with chips or mash, mushy peas or garden peas and gravy or traditional green liquor and not forgetting the mint sauce. The staff are really friendly and chatty. They know what they sell and are happy to change anything you want them too. They treat you like a friend and not someone they are making money from. I would recommend this pie shop as first class and can not wait to go back.

Had a lovely Steak and Kidney pie with loads of kidney just as i like it. Good mash and a meaty gravy. Well worth the money. The tea and coffee was good value too. Staff very helpful a nice experience overall

This place is cracking. For those who don't know, this place is like chippy food but with the focus on pies. The cafe has seating upstairs and down and the food is served straight away. This means it great if you are strapped for time and need a quick bite. Friendly staff and clean yet very simple surroundings.

Food was simple (that's what you're here for!) but absolutely delish. Creamy beautiful mash, rich thick gravy and a pie with the most wonderful pastry I've had in forever. Very family friendly, reasonably priced.

Well worth a visit. The 'Steak and Kidney' pie was lovely and, when joined with the mashed potatoes, mushy peas and gravy, it turned into a little piece of what can be best described as Skipton Heaven. All of the pies, of which there was a healthy variety, were 100% wonderful and I intend to return to sample others. For those who do not share a love of meat, they serve a 'Homity Pie', which is a wholly vegetarian option. Highly recommended.

Didn't have pie and mash but they looked good (maybe next time, we'll try) cake and coffee good, staff friendly especially the young man, toilets clean. Would have given 5stars but some of the seats down stairs could of done with a clean (ingrained food).

Lovely variety of pies (at least two veggie options) served with mashed potato and mushy or garden peas. Quick efficient service. Dogs allowed inside (wonderful on a cold winter day). Would recommend to anyone visiting the lovely town of Skipton.

I've been here a few times now and never been disappointed. Pies are tasty and hot, and there is a good choice of sides and drinks (including alcohol if you want). Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend you visit if you're in Skipton and enjoy pies!

Oh what a place this is. Cycled over with the bike club and was in need of a good refueling. Oh if a pie and gravy is what you want then look no further. Loads of selection. I`m a vegetarian and they also did veggie gravy. Will most certainly be back. After refueling though didn't want to get back on the bike !

It was ok. Just basic grub that's overpriced.

Not the same as Stepney's East London pie and mash from Roman Road. BUT still was a really nice meat pie. Nice pies a mix of pies can be had not just meat. A good day out not a lot to do take a boat ride on the canal. Not a place to really take the older kids that need a lot to keep them amused and occupied.
